That's a huge win, Mexia has a LONG basketball tradition!!! Congrats again!!! 

Coach we both agree anything can happen, earlier they were playing with about 7 players and missing 2 key players. Also they were not taking the game serious for whatever reason, but changed their attitude before district. And their district was weak, but I saw Silsbee play and was impressed with their team which came in second, but after them their district is weak.   IMO Livingston is still young and you never know which team will show up. Livingston will have to play a bad game before I could see them losing to BC, I guess that's why I'm going to be like the blind man and wait until I can see. You could be right, but good luck to your team against Mexia. 

5 reasons why North Shore is the best team (maybe ever)...
1.  They have the best football player in the country, Zach Evans, and they only use him about 1/3 of the game.  I can't imagine if he got all the touches.
2.  #5 for Lake Travis is suppose to be one of the top receivers in the nation, they manned him up with their own #5, and didn't think twice.  Kid shut him down.
3.  Offensive/Defensive Lines... they're bigger, quicker, and meaner on both sides of the ball in the trenches
4. The QB... He's almost as big a threat as the RB, the extra player you can't account for (and he can pass!!!).
5.   #2... This Middle linebacker is special.  I have seen some in his league, but it's a very short list, and it's taken over 20 years to compile.

I agree that North Shore is beast this year after I went watch them last Saturday against Lake Travis and thought it will be good or close game but not! 3 players on offense is most talent and impact that team and will be fun to watch next year.

Well given some of there studs are underclassmen. Heck next years team could be the best

Yes she's playing but not up to her potential, she and her sister both are good players, but all the returner must have the same virus.   

I will be looking forward to it, also looking forward to the Saturday double headers in your area. I'm also looking forward to watching all the good teams in the SETX area. I'm no hater, just love good football.

Almost sounds like some decisions that oughta get one or more people fired.

Hello everybody, I'm back!! It's a shame the kids have to pay for the adults, who are the cheaters! I for one, wish the UIL would punish the Superintendent and School board members. I'm hoping that the taxpayers call for him to be fired and we go to the polls and remove those School board members for the sake of our kids.

you guys realize that the only ones that will suffer are the kids who had nothing to do with it. It was wrong, but why is it the kids have to pay for what some adults decided to do?

You hate to see the kids punished for the actions of a couple of adults BUT
UIL has to make a statement or this kind of "error" in reporting accurate #s will become more common.

Livingston is on the docket for UIL tomorrow for under reporting realignment numbers. Be interesting to see if anything is done.

Probably because most of us know 22-5A as deep as in some years past so there will be no sweep by us. But i will go on record and say there will not be a sweep by 21-5A either. That's why the games are played...

I like the sweep idea only if Crosby don't come in Thursday's game sleep. This could be a dangerous game for them I believe.

And the thing is that Ozen may have just as many athletes as Crosby. Avoid silly turnovers and dumb penalties, this could be an upset...
