wow, making a mountain our of a molehill I see.  Whats the matter, miss your chance to scout an opponent? :)
Nope.  I'm a football fan and wanted to see some spring football.  These 4 teams that were listed were available to see.  I just wanted that same option to be available for the 20-4a King's spring game....
I don't know your schedule Soulja, but if the game was held during football period it was in the afternoon.  So could you have made it anyway?
If it was a game that all fans, media, or scouts were aware of, I'm sure that the game would have taken place in the evening.  Just ask your neighbors across the track.  Their spring game last  year also started in the evening.  Of course, everyone knew all about PN-G's spring game...
May be trying to hide how bad they really are :D
If that's the case, png should have played all of their regular season games last season at 3am in the deep woods
 3.
Lol y'all are cracking me up with thinking that central and Nederland have a chance against vidor. But don't worry. Second and third place ain't that bad.  8)
You guys in vidor should know all about that...finishing second and third that is
 4. Believe me guys, "game" is a very loose interpretation...it happens during the regular football period, so it is really over almost before it starts...just a little bit of fun for the guys after off season workouts...attendance will be a limited to a few dads and like I said, with the time they have in athletic period, it is over almost as soon as it starts
 5.
The big question is will cougar14 be here to eat his crow if his predictions are wrong come August.
Of course not...it will be just like last year after the Dogs beat Crosby...couldn't get him to shut up before the game, but he "up and vanished like a f@r7 in the wind" after the game was over...go pull the old thread and check it out...no sign of 14 after the loss
 6. you are right, coug...what are us Nederland faithful thinking...Crosby 78, Nederland 2
 7. No self respecting Bulldog would be caught dead in a headdress, regardless of the color
 8. It ain't as sad as having to reach back that far to find sustained success agaist your rival...I tell you what, you can have your streak from the Nixon administration and I will be enjoy the success of the past 20 years
 9. now there is some rival talk from our friends across the tracks...never mind that they have to go back nearly 30 years to relive their glory over Nederland...the fact is, at least they had their day, once upon a time, a long, long time ago  ;) Dang, I am bored...no football, basketball, or baseball games to talk about
 10. It is not...both parties have to participate for it to be a rivalry...no matter how much vidor tries to create one with Nederland, it just ain't happening...png is Nederland's rival...period
 11. I know this much...more times than not, when Nederland plays Vidor, at Nederland or anywhere else, the scoreboard shows more points for Nederland than it does for vidor...what's that record again???  something like 58-9 or something close to it.
 12. Angleton put up 0 points at Bulldog Stadium last year
 13. pryor played there at the end of the season due to injuries and washington did the same at the beginning of the year...trust me, if healthy, next year's OL will be plenty good enough at Nederland...I have zero concerns there
 14.

But they did in preseason
and also in Play-offs... but not in district... would actually be 21 straight if they go undefeated in district again... 8 team district... 7 district games... you do the math :-D
currently the streak in 20-4A stands at 17 for Nederland...they won their last 3 of 2010 as well as going undefeated in each of the past 2 seasons...another undefeated season (tall order) would add up to 24 straight district wins for the Dogs
 15. Nederland hasn't lost a district game in either of the last 2 seasons...as for blue's assessment of the OL, I am not sure what you are looking at...this will be a strength of the team next year with Brown, Albritton, and Brinkley returning...these guys all played great last year and there is no reason to expect anything different this season
 16. tons of talent graduating this year from Nederland (as evidenced by the all district picks) but the cupboard is far from bare...plenty of returning talent and I fully expect a 3 peat for the 20-4A crown
 17.
Nederland will lose 3 games before the end of district.  Haines, Raynes, Froot-of-the looms or whatever his name is was their offense. He's gone.  They lost their defence and Vidor controls their ticket sales.  ;)
keep smoking...Nederland will not have 3 district losses next year...BH might, but Nederland will not
 18. the bad part is that they tried the same scheme on defense as well...neither worked
 19.

It was a toss up between Nederland and PNG -- You're both pretty football crazy.  :)
We have headdresses on and an Indian spinning like a top in the middle of the field...whats crazier than that?
NDNation , this thread is not supposed to be about your team's offensive scheme
 20. you ain't banned, rob, just misguided...half the fun of the lead up to Nederland/vidor is listening to you go on diatribes about how this time will be different despite the 9 or so wins in 65 or however many tries...I can call next year's already; "vidor leads the world in rushing offense and Nederland will have no solution for the powerful pirate rushing attack; the pirates have played a brutal pre-district schedule that has prepared them for Nederland this time so the past means nothing"...sound familiar?? as for png, I will stick with 5-5 for next season
 21. I thought rob only came out during the lead up to Nederland/vidor to talk about why the pirates will beat the Dogs this time
 22. png is likely going to start 1-2 with that pre-district schedule and one of those is going to be a pounding from SC...not real good for the psyche coming off of a 2-8 season and I am afraid the negative momentum will continue to grow at the reservation...the indians will be better than last year, but that ain't saying much...they better figure out how to focus on the defensive side of the ball and get more physical there...I see png at 5-5 and in the mix for a playoff spot with their 4th consecutive loss to the Dogs (most important)
