I give Memorials defense a lot of credit

Lady Cards beat A&M Commerce on the road 74-58 to get some revenge for their only conference loss of the year.
Meanwhile, the UIW CARDS beat Southeastern LA by a score of 53-51.
This gives Lamar a two game lead over SE LA with two to play. Lamar swept SE LA during the regular season so this should give the Lady Cards the #1 seed and the conference title.
Congrats Lady Cards now 21-5 and 15-1.

Marshall just escaped with a two point win over Friendswood but they are still my pick to win region.

That's an understatement.
Knowing what that team has gone through and what talent he has (or lack thereof), this could be one of his best coaching seasons of his career. 
I certainly didn't have them to be 4 points from a regional tourney appearance. 

United, Silsbee and Brookeland

I believe one can safely say that 4A Region III in the last 20 seasons runs thru Silsbee.

That's an understatement.
Knowing what that team has gone through and what talent he has (or lack thereof), this could be one of his best coaching seasons of his career. 
I certainly didn't have them to be 4 points from a regional tourney appearance. 

I had 6 teams making it but had San Augustine and not Sabine Pass. The other 5 were my picks.
