  1. Seattle has won 6 in a row. Astro lead down to 1/2 a game.
  2. Precisely. It's a freaking glorified scrimmage. Anyone predicting season results off the first preseason game is delirious.
  3. Not exactly. I'll try to gather them up for you and get them to you. We have one of our mods here that is putting together the schedules.
  4. First time all season that Framber has gone thru 4 innings without getting a K.
  5. Not a good start for Framber
  6. Carlos Correa in his first week back as a Houston Astro: .379 AVG .455 OBP .552 SLG 1.007 OPS 184 wRC+
  7. I agree but it is finally causing many more teams to make the adjustments. From the schedules I have seen, much more Thursday games will be played than have been in the past.
  8. Houston with a 5-3 extra inning win. Hader with two innings pitched to finish it off. Trammell with a 2 run homer in top of 10th.
  9. Stros/Yanks going to extra tied 2-2
  10. Yankees daddy Altuve with a two run shot in 1st. Astros lead 2-0 thru 5. Brown giving up only 1 hit and 5 K's. 69 total pitches thru 5.
  11. It's my understanding that this year the official shortage will really be noticeable in the fact that several games will be played on Thursday nights this year instead of Friday. A few even on Saturdays. For example, Hardin is playing half their games (5) on Thursday nights this year. We are aware of this situation and will do our best in making those changes to the schedules when they are posted.

  13. I know nothing about a transfer QB at EC.
  14. I believe the QB for Hardin last year was a senior.
  15. Heard the manger say that they were going to take things with caution with Pena. I was expecting Pena to sit yesterday due to the prior game being a night game and the following game being a day game.
  16. I stood on the sidelines for that game last year. Trust me, Hardin was good enough to win that game. EC got the win, 28-22, but it was a battle from start to finish. EC got a score on a pick 6 and another set up by a fumble deep in Hardin territory. Hardin actually had more offensive yards than EC. With what Hardin has returning (19 starters, 24 of 29 lettermen) I would favor them in the game over EC. EC getting them at home is a plus but very curious who replaces Fontenot at QB. EC having the upper hand over Hardin in the past helps with the confidence. But I have to believe Hardin will be coming into this season with lots of confidence.
  17. They will be very good. Good enough to win district and make a little noise in the region.
  18. Maroon vs. White scrimmage this Saturday night at 6pm.
  19. Houston goes down 6-4. Astros were 4-14 with RISP. 10 LOB's.
  20. Arrighetti lasted 3 2/3. 11 hits, 5 runs on 86 pitches. Astros down 6-3 after 5.
