  1. Thru three innings, Arrighetti has given up 5 runs on 10 hits. Over 70 pitches. Not the start he was wanting for his first time back since beginning of season.
  2. Arrighetti with a rough first inning. Gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. Faced all 9 batters in that inning. Marlins left the bases loaded. Threw 30 pitches.
  3. I think Hardin is going to be really tough.
  4. Week 10 and Week 11 have coverage area teams as the best game. Week 10 is Angleton at La Porte Week 11 is Garrison at Joaquin (I have permission from the DCTF guys to post that info)
  5. The rules are for anyone trying to post ads in the forums. This does not include the site ads that are here. Those are from a market company that we subscribe to that helps pay the bills and keep this site free. Also there are local ads that have paid to be on the site. 6. No joke. Eovaldi has given up just 1 hit thru 7 innings.
  7. I have taken down many advertising posts. Not sure any still remain.
  8. Mariners are a -250 for this game. Seattle with Woo on the mound tonight. I like the Mariners in this one. lol
  9. Astros win 7-3. Houston uses 5 pitchers total with Blubaugh going 5 innings (3-7). Abreu and Hader finished it off. Every Houston batter got a hit.
  10. That's not going to happen here. Against forum rules to copy and paste premium (subscribe content) and post here. Sorry
  11. Blubaugh with a good 5 innings for the Stros. Came in the 3rd, gave up 2 runs on 3 hits, 5 K's. Houston leads 7-3 after 7.
  12. They are making this game a bullpen game in order to give some of the starters extra rest. Probably see Houston use 5-6 pitchers in this game. Gives Brown 6 days and will make the start in the opener at Yankees. Will also allow Arrenghetti to pitch the second game on Saturday and Framber on Sunday. I personally like this move.
  13. I know all about civil disobedience. I just don't see this as the same. I also do not think redistricting should be on this bill. That should be on a separate bill all on it's own or not even put on a bill. Let the voters decide.
  14. I get that. But if Reps (both sides) were to do this all the time without any immediate repercussions, then how can legislature work fluidly? I can certainly understand voting someone out because they no longer rep your beliefs and values. But I don't need to vote someone out if they don't show up for work. That should be handled accordingly and immediately. Just my opinion. Would feel this way if the sides were reversed.
  15. Redistricting should ALWAYS be about the numbers and not political gain or loss. When the population landscapes change, that is time to redistrict. That's warranted. Any other reason for redistricting is simply to gain a political advantage. Neither side should do it. I will say, the Dems that have fled to break quorum should be replaced. Immediately!
  16. So what you are saying is Republicans need to be more like Democrats. Got it
  17. Astros with an 8-2 win over the Marlins. Stops a 3 game losing streak.
  18. Astros currently taking care of business. Up 6-0 top of 7th
  19. Held back when? How large is this "group"?
  20. If he averages 180 yards per game, then he will get 1800 in the regular season. If he averages 150, then he will get 1800 in 12 games. I see PAM playing at least 12 games this season.
  21. How does this "group" get an extra year of football?
  22. I agree. Just wanted to hear if there was some actual logic to the redistricting other than it being political and one side trying to get an advantage over the other.
  23. High school football officially kicks off today. Good luck to all our coverage area teams. Give us some early reports of practices for this week.
