That's a big loss for the Indians in more ways than one. Jamal is not only the starting QB for Cleveland (and a good one I might add) he also is a starting guard on the basketball team who is one of their leading scorers from last year. Here's to a speedy recovery.

Joey and I will preview each of our area districts from 5A down to our Private schools. We will give our predictions on how these districts play out and we will also discuss in detail our SETXsports.com Preseason Top 15 rankings. Also back by popular demand will be our Discussion segment in our last segment of the show. Here is where you the listener can participate in the show by posting any questions or comments here on the broadcast thread and Joey and I will discuss them on air. Then join us each and every Wednesday night starting this week as we take the show on the road and get back to our home at Hamburger Depot on Neches St. in downtown Beaumont. Joey and I will be there each and every week breaking down that week's schedule of games and reviewing the previous week's results. Garrett had no time to throw and we could not run the ball. The defense played well until late in the first half when they ran out of juice because our offense went 3 and out so much. Then when we did get down inside the 10 a couple times they fumbled. Anyway, you can't expect the defense to be in shape after a week and the offensive line, although large, is where our inexperience lies on offense. Only one of them started every game last year and the center spot started when jordan was injured. The rest were on JV so no surprise that they got beat up on by Daytons big experienced front. Probably good to see such a talented bunch out of the gate, beause they may not see a better front again this year.
