I like Silsbee's chances in this game. It's all about which team will be able to dictate their pace of play. Ozen will want to slow it down while Silsbee will want to play at break neck speed. I'll take the Tigers at home, 63-60.

Probably the smallest Tiger team of recent years, but certainly the fastest and quickest Silsbee team in recent memory. I'd put their overall team speed and quickness against any team locally. Plus, Silsbee is still playing a 10-11 man rotation. I see Silsbee only having problems with a team that has size and is able to handle the rock under pressure. If that team can't handle Silsbee's relentless pressure, the Tigers will eventually prevail.

There was no dirty play from either side tonight. Just good hard nosed football. Can't see where anyone could call Angleton dirty, at least being in their right mind. ;) ::)

Texas' local talent and "list" these players. [/quote] It's all about the teams, not the individual players. But, I wouldn't expect an AAU cronie to act any different. ::)

Actually, I am expecting good things (or at least better things ;)) from this year's Dayton basketball team. They have two players in Da Magazine's Top 110 Senior list, #69 '6"8 post Ryan Alford and #70 '6"7 post Bryan Alford. This list has some "real" meaning to some folks around here. ;) ::)

The Dayton Broncos (9-3, 5-2) face the Manvel Mavericks (12-0, 6-0) tonight at 7pm in a Class 4A Division II regional semifinal at Clyde Abshire Stadium in Deer Park.
