OK, The Davis kid scored 136 points in Dist. But better than that his team only lost ONE game... I cant find the # for the DV kid. but He only Won ONE game....
So, Davis averaged 11 points a game in district. DV player averaged over 20 in district. BTW, THEY only won 1 district game, not HE. ;) It's a team game, wins and losses are for the teams, not the individuals.

Was told by an administrator last night that Silsbee's current enrollment is 769. That's down from the 843 turned in for realignment in Oct. '09. This pace, Silsbee could be 2A in 6 years. ;) ;D

District 25-A-I All-District Team

What I meant was it is not that unusual for a superlative to come from a team that did not do well. I have seen plenty of players over the years that were great players but were on bad teams. Not the player's fault. -
No player averaged over 30 points a game in this district. True Blue's stats are inaccurate.
I did not say he score 363 in dist. that was his stats for the year. According to Max Preps numbers. That is 12.5 points a game. But I cant find the Kids Numbers from DV his coach must not post them.
All District teams are only based off district games, not the season. So Davis 363 points in the season is irrelevant.

thanks anyways but i have already maybe you should look at them cause the kid from deweyville averaged over 20 points a game which isn't that bad and he still doesn't deserve offensive MVP? hmmmmm?
It does not matter if he Average 20 or 50, his team came in last in a 7 team dist. that mean that 30 other kids play on a team that beat him. MVP means Best Player in Whole Dist. and if you play on a team that only wins one game and comes in last place, that aint you.. ::)
He wasn't MVP, he was Offensive POY. McDaniel was MVP. I have seen offensive POY's come from teams that did not do well. It's not that big a deal. -

Who was doing the writing?
I seem to remember someone from Ozen of all places.
And you took that one ridiculous comment from someone who probably knows nothing of the sport as the concensus of this board?
Good game tigers....... Blue was horrible tonight!!!!!!!!! If you was at the game you saw for yourself if you wasn't you have No idea......
I agree that the home plate ump was very tight with his strike zone for both teams, did not favor any pitcher. The base ump missed a couple. But, the better team won. ;)
That makes no sense? Why bet on a proven loser?
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe UNLV thinks his ship has come in. He's due! ;) -
