1.
Silsbee Tigers Win!!! in 3 games over Vidor
and the domination begins!!!!!! ;D (heard Silsbee pulled it's starters in the 3rd quarter) ;D
 2. I don't expect it to.
 3.
Hey AAW, Heard those tigers are headed to Nederland tournament in December is that true? If so who else is in that tournament down there?
That is true. Silsbee will not be playing in the Big Sandy or Woodville tourneys next year is what I am told. They will be playing in the Nederland tourney as one of the replacements but I have not heard what other tourney they will play in to replace the other. The Tigers will still play in the YMBL. I do not know of the other teams in the Nederland tourney other than Nederland and Ozen.
 4. I just took for granted that the "Gold" meant that the parents would have to shell out more money for their kid to play. ;) ;D
 5.
The only numbers that matter are the ones on the scoreboard. I dont care if Ozen is 4A because we would win their district anyway. They will regret scrimmaging the Catz . :-*
See, it's comments like this from some of you Kirbyville fans that make you guys look completely foolish. Saying that Kirbyville would win district 20-4A is down right comical.
 6. and they just keep a coming. ;) ;D (in a loud whisper), "If you build it, they will come"

 8. 5 of the 8 teams in this new district made the playoffs last year. I think it will be a battle but Newton will come out on top.
 9. When field turf gets put down at Tiger Stadium in Silsbee, I would put it up against any 3A stadium in the state. Plans to lay turf for this upcoming season had to be put back due to some problems elsewhere (baseball field and light poles). But based on what I am hearing, I am convinced that turf will be in Tiger Stadium within the next two seasons.
 10. I tend to agree with sig220 on this subject. With Ozen having an enrollment over 1200 and Kirbyville with an enrollment just over 400 (actually Kirbyville is officially the smallest 3A in the state now), it is obviously good for Kirbyville, but not so much for Ozen. With not just twice but three times the enrollment, I think Ozen would have been better suited scrimmaging one of the 19-4A teams. You guys need to remember, varsity is not the only one's scrimmaging here. You have JV and freshmen teams to scrimmage too. With that kind of disparity in numbers, I am pretty sure the sub-varsity scrimmages will not be all that great. In some cases (and I do not know if Kirbyville falls into this catagory) some 3A's combine their freshmen and JV teams due to numbers. That would not benefit Ozen at all. Ozen may not be able to look at as many players in the scrimmages as they would like due to the low numbers from Kirbyville. Ozen may have 3 strings on both sides of the ball and Kirbyville may only have 2. I don't see too much of a problem with the two varsity's scrimmaging, but I can see problems with the sub-varsity scrimmages.

 13.
By rule, the first scrimmage date is Saturday.....so no one will be scrimmaging this Friday......
Thank you kind sir.
 14. Looking at the scrimmage schedules, it seems everyone will be scrimmaging Saturday. Are there any teams scrimmaging this Friday?
 15. I see the Cards going 2-2 in the SLC this season. ;)
 16.
who will upset who.both teams are very good love to see this game
Only Coldspring could upset Kirbyville. If Kirbyville wins, it would not be an upset based on the fact that Kirbyville is state ranked and Coldspring is not. Kirbyville will be favored in this game. Prediction: Coldspring in an upset!!!  ;D
 17. Here some pics of some of the players to watch, courtesy of the Beaumont Enterprise: [Hidden Content] Gotta love that first pic. ;) I MADE THE PAPER!!!! ;D

 20.
Huffman and silsbee will see each other again more than likely. It will be interesting to see if Silsbee can beat them without JJ
I believe they will. ;)
 21. I will go on the advice of our resident weatherman. Lamar        30 McNeese    24 I also have 1,000 excuses to pull out if this prediction doesn't come true. ;D
 22.
Hope I'm wrong but I think 31 to 7
Who will have 31?
 23.

One of the best young ball players I have seen in years. What a loss for Lumberton and a tremendous gain for HF. This kid has everything to going for her. Is she great, ABSOLUTLEY! She will definitely be an asset to the HF program. Major colleges are scouting her and she is only in Jr. High School. I feel for the competition when she gets a couple more years under her belt.
Wow, it has been a long time since a girl has went to a major college in this area.  HF will probably win state now. ::) ::)
Bleed, I got a question. Just what classifies as a "Major" college?
 24.
You have been boring to a lot of folks for a long time.  This nice person was just being kind enough to give you a heads-up.
I think you mean to just "certain" folks. ;) Didn't you know that I am well loved in Bridge City? ;D
 25.
Huffman is the largest enrollment in Region III for 3A.  With so many kids to choose from they are fairly hard to beat in any sport!
Hmmm, Silsbee has had their way with them in football and basketball. ;)
