4.
AAW thats great and I know the score does not matter.  And I sure dont wont to confuse. But will you please tell us who did not win and who did not lose? ???
I will give stats, not winners or losers. ;)
 5. Again, Ford doesn't run a 4.3 forty. Coaches have told me it's more of a 4.5
 6.
Can't lie, Mr. Sanchez keeps some sick scrimmage statistics!
I do what I can. ;D
 7. I will be blogging these scrimmages this week: Thurs. LCM @ Silsbee 7pm (due to the change in day of the Lufkin/West Brook scrimmage, I will only have a live blog of Thurday night's scrimmage. I still will be attending the Lufkin/WB and GCM/Lumberton scrimmages on Friday night, just no live blog)

I wonder if NW's basketball coach Billy Goffney will have to be the OC and DC for the football team. Kind of sticky with the Livingston ISD not releasing Tullos. I wonder if Tullos will get the job next year.
Does he help out with Football
Everyone at New Waverly coaches football.

I think it is more of the fans doing it. I had no idea what the "score" was because it was a scrimmage.
Just a pumped u pratice to me
Weren't you asking for the score yourself?

 12.
Never really cared that much for Hooks but I do like how he schedules 3-way scrimmages.
3 way scrimmages?? This topic is about the regular season game between WOS and Friendswood that will be played at Deer Park because Friendswood's stadium is having repairs done. No 3 way scrimmage here.
 13.
Turf or grass?
Deer Park Stadium is turf.
 14. Fajitas!!! Muy Bueno!!!! I know I will be there now!! Muchas Gracias Senor Rey!
 15.

I agree but I am also smart enough to realize that the "winner" will almost always put more stock in the "win" and the "loser" will almost always play up the fact that it wasn't a "real" game. The fact is, scrimmages come in many colors. I have been to some that were nothing more than co-practice sessions and I have been to others that were as close to a real game as you can get (full contact/rotation/special teams, etc.). I didn't see any this year so I can't say yeah or nay on the results. Just glad to see football is back!
Lufkin and WB will be like a game...refs, clock, score, no coaches on the field during game, play clock, links, BBQ sandwiches, you name it....come out and see this practice, Saturday 3 pm Durley Stadium.
I will be on the sidelines for this one. SgtRey, bring me a chipped beef sandwich please. (btw, no team will win or lose this one either) ;D
Kelson McDaniel will be the man. He is running pretty much full time with the 1st team offense.
What number is he? I saw a three QB rotation going on...3, 9, "27"????
McDaniel is #3, Prentice Lane #9, Garrett Drake #27 McDaniel ran 1st team, Lane and Drake split with 2nd team
 19. Sub-varsity results: WOS 9th    2 TD's Dayton 9th  3 TD's WOS JV      2 TD's Dayton JV    0 TD
 20. Sub-varsity results Silsbee 9th    3 TD's Kirbyville 9th  1 TD Silsbee JV      5 TD's Kirbyville JV    1 TD
 21. Dayton scored 24 and WOS did not score, but no one won or lost. Geez, how many times do I have to say it. ::)
 22. I would not say that Kirbyville dominated, but they played better than what Silsbee did, that's for sure. Numbers for the game: Controlled scrimmage: Silsbee 1st team 15 plays 23 total yards, 1 first down Kirbyville 1st team 15 plays 79 total yards, 4 first downs, touchdown Silsbee 2nd team 15 plays 27 yards, 1 first down Kirbyville 1st team (Wildcats played 1st team against Silsbee's 2nd team defense) 79 total yards, 4 first downs, touchdown Silsbee 1st team 15 plays 66 yards, 4 first downs Kirbyville 1st team (some subs) 15 plays 24 yards, 2 first downs Final totals Silsbee  45 plays  116 yards  6 first downs  0 TD's Kirbyville 45 plays  182 yards  10 first downs  2 TD's I was very impressed with Kirbyville's offensive line. They controled the line of scrimmage. Silsbee has a lot to work on but it is very hard to come out in the first scrimmage and play a defense that blitzed probably 95% or more during the scrimmage. Tigers just weren't ready for that just yet.
