[/quote] Totally disagree. That Jasper '06 team was the worst Jasper team that I have ever seen and I have seen all Jasper teams back to 1970. The '06 team lost to Silsbee that year 35-0 in just over 2 quarters of play. With about 7 minutes left in the 3rd and Silsbee leading 35-0, a big storm blew in and delayed the game. After about a 20 minute wait, Jasper decided to end the game right then with Silsbee getting the win, 35-0. Silsbee could have won that game 60-0 or worse. At least this year's Jasper team scored 20 points against Silsbee, only trailing 22-14 at the half. That '06 team had no speed what so ever and was probably the lowest scoring Jasper team in several decades. The defense wasn't much better. This year's Jasper team would beat the '06 team by at least 2 TD's.

I still say the '06 Jasper team was worse than this year's Jasper team.

Dayton doesn't get any love?? If you will notice that all those teams in the top 10 are either undefeated or just has the 1 loss. Don't see any 3-3 teams ranked. ;)

I am not suggesting that I do not use sarcasm on this site, can't speak for Dove though. I am saying that stevenash uses sarcasm the most on this site, that's why I said "most sarcastic" poster. Question, did Kirbyville's JV team not play their game Thursday night? Also, I have seen the numbers on the Kirbyville varsity. They do not have a third team.

I am with Bleed, if you have volleyball players that play basketball, they should concentrate on the sport at hand which is currently volleyball. When basketball starts, then just basketball.

I really like the idea of taking away the ability to delete a post and only allowing modifying. This way there is some accountability. One things for sure though, if we do this, the mods will need to be tougher skinned because members will actually see who took down their posts and I am quite sure they will call them out on it.

Very good ideas, Todd. The deleting of these pickem posts is not cool but we need not hasten to believe that this was done purposely. Let's not rule out that the author of said posts did accidently delete or mistakenly not post thinking they have, particularly when some of it was done from a phone. I know Soulja has had problems before with that. The thing is this, if a mod or admin did delete these posts, do they not know that Jordan can actually check on this? I think most of us know this. I say that if it turns out that a mod or admin did do this, their status should be revoked.
