So Soulja, are you saying that since I don't live in your neighborhood that I shouldn't warn you if someone was trying to steal your car or break into your house?
 2.
trying to request crednetials from BISD...been told two different things by two different people on the procedure for a credential request...starting to get a bit worried this could turn into a cluster...anyone know who I need to talk to so I can be able to cover the games Saturday?
Matthew, don't get me started. >:( Complete joke. I will pm you.
 3.
Jay McGuire, Artie Shankle, and Ricky Price.
These three that I have listed are the top 3 leading rushers in Silsbee football history. The next two are QB's, Bobby McGallion and Jeremy Johnson.
 4.
Ricky Price? What years did he play? Any stats on him. Detrice Spearman was good as well. Quincy Kelly??
Ricky Price played RB in the football seasons of '82 and '83. He had over 1,600 yards and 17 TD's his junior year and over 2,000 and 24 TD's his senior year.
 5.
uhh....James Hunter  or William Graham  ,Poochie Arline should be on the list...
Even though Hunter and Graham were very good runningbacks, I classify them as defensive backs, since that is what they played in college and the NFL.
 6. Jay McGuire, Artie Shankle, and Ricky Price.
 7.
Yea these coaches don't know! HJ will lose at least 12 games this year.
This statement tells me all I need to know about your knowledge of the local basketball scene. ::) BTW, where is my $1,000 dollars you owe me from the BC/Silsbee football game, Boogy1000? ;)
 8. I think Kirbyville is a very good team, but they would not beat West Brook or PAM.
 9. I will be there to cover the district Cross Country meet at Claiborne Park in Vidor. Meet will start at 9am. I will post the results from CP. Looking forward to the meet, see you guys there.
 10. In all honesty, I know that the WOS coaches and players respected the BC football team to a point, but it is hard for WOS fans (and maybe the players and coaches themselves) to have total respect for a team they have dominated over the years. WOS is now 21-0 against BC, averaging 44 points a game while only giving up 9 points a game, with 7 shutouts. BC get's shutout a third of the time against WOS. When some BC fans start talking smack before the games with the Stangs, you can only expect for it to be dished back heavily from the Mustang fans and rightly so.
 11.
glad to see the detailed breakdown.  Normally don't see this in the smaller schools.  Somebody is working and deserves some credit.  NICE JOB.
Just posted team stats for district only games.

 14.
Okay I did have a problem with The chaple hill predition but I have the rest of them as is. Silsbee will be a 40 piont differance.... sorry(and thats the stats not because I'm a "Huffman newbe")
So, you got Huffman and you are willing to give me Silsbee and 39 points. I got 5 grand to lay on that bet! How about it?
 15.
Did this game ever get broadcast on KFDM.com? If so, is the link still up or did they take it down?
Gas, you have to watch it at the designated time. It aired on their site at 6pm tonight. It is not archived. You should have DVR'd it last night. ;D
 16.
I Navasota does not put a beatdown on Huffman then Chapel Hill certainly will.
Huffman will not get a chance to play either of those teams. Silsbee will beat them. ;) As for the other games, I think Sealy beats Navasota in the 1st round. I also have jasper making the playoffs and not Diboll, therefore Jasper will get beat by Chapel Hill, not Center. BTW, when did China send a team over to participate in the 3A playoffs? ;D
 17.
Silsbee number 10? HJ 3? Cleveland 2? This poll is a joke! Who ever made this knows nothing about texas basketball.
That's a funny statement. The poll is from TABC (Texas Association of Basketball Coaches) ;) Blame the coaches. ::)
 18.

Silsbee= Domination!!! ;D
Even if Silsbee beats a "ranked" team, the ranked team doens't drop and Silsbee is still out of the top 25, but I shouldn't bring that up because that might be too negative.
Bobcat, you and I both know what those particular top 25 rankings really mean. ;) I believe it's the same one individual that puts the softball rankings out. He plays favorites. ;)
 19.
How does aaw know that jj will earn 12 hrs when the semester is months from ending?  Plus didnt he miss a week of school here recentl y?  Publish facts not your guesses!
Maybe I miss spoke on that issue. Jeremy is taking 12 hours this semester at WVU. If he passes his classes, he will have earned 12 hours credit. JJ will finish the fall semester. He did not miss a week of classes. He came down on a Thursday, the night WVU played on ESPN. Had no classes on Friday. There, those are the facts, happy now. ::)
 20. It's all about matchups. Silsbee matches up very well every year against WOS. The Tigers are the only team in 21-3A that year in and year out has the ability to beat the Mustangs. It has been proven over the last several years in the close games between the two. My heart says the Tigers get the upset, but my head says WOS gets the victory. Silsbee 20 WOS    28

 22. I think most folks would say the easiest was the HF game which the Stangs won 63-0, holding HF to under 20 yards of offense. There was nothing easy about that game last night, but WOS clearly dominated, as always in this matchup.
 23.
I really really really don't think JJ is going to Lamar...I've been wrong that one time back in '79 though.
You might want to prepare yourself. ;)
