3. Splendora takes the 3rd spot.
4. bigred360 knows me well. ;D I didn't know that my username on this site had to represent my wife's alma mater. I am an Aggie, she is a Cardinal. We did have season tickets to A&M games for 13 years up until 2 years ago. I lost my job and just could not afford to keep them up at the time. Now we have season tickets for Lamar football instead. Have had season tickets to Lamar basketball for the past 10 years now. I support Lamar University, but I am an Aggie first and foremost.
5. Yes. But don't put too much into it right now.
6. Curious to know, if you have basketball players that play softball, when softball season approches, should those girls start practicing softball as well during basketball season?
7.
A few months ago JJ did post on his Facebook page that he was transferring to Baylor, which he quickly retracted.
Correct.
8.
I suspect Cody Green will transfer to another FBS school. He would have to sit out one year, but it would be a Red-Shirt year since he got PT as a true Fish. Also since Nebraska is moving to the Big Ten next season he could transfer within the Big 12 and not have to sit out 2 years, which is the case when transfering within the same conference. i personally think Cody would fit in great at TCU! If JJ wants to play QB he will probably have to go FCS. Before you guys get all bent outta shape and insinuate that I am downing the kid as a QB, I am not, but facts are facts, the local FBS schools did not recruit him as a QB for a reason and I doubt anything that occured at WVU changed those opinions. Maybe one of the smaller FBS schools like UNT, ULM or LaTech?? If he goes to Baylor he will not start at QB for the next couple of seasons...RGIII is a stud!
If he went to Baylor (who recruited him to play QB, along with the likes of Michigan, TCU and others) he would have to sit out next year thus giving him 3 years left to play. His first year to play would be Griffin's senior year which would leave him 2 years after that. JJ has plenty of options, trust me. ;) edit: sleepy knows too. ;)
9. Are you talking about Cazzy when he was in college or at high school?
10. JJ has 4.4-4.5 speed, not 4.3. I think most folks do not realize how fast 4.3 really is. 4.3 is Olympic sprinter speed, like Chopper(Ivory Williams) from Central. I believe Hall is 4.4 speed at best.
11. I cannot explain it. I am a voter and I voted Coldspring #5 this week behind West Brook, PAM, Kirbyville, and Central. BTW, I am a Silsbee guy. ;)
12. Based on what I saw at the summer league tourney, I don't see Silsbee beating Ozen by 20 points like they did last year, but I can still see the Tigers beating Ozen this year in a close one.

14. If you posted your picks in this week's pickem contest before Wed. 13th, you will need to post them again. Check the new pickem thread to make sure your picks are there. If not, please repost. We apologize for this inconvience.

16. [Hidden Content] Loved watching Patrick play football, totally relentless!! Prayers to his family
17. Show has started!!!!
18. JJ never left WVU. He missed one practice, that was all, stayed on campus the whole time. This the first time.
19. 1 hour before show time!! Get those questions and comments posted so that Joey and I can discuss them in our last segment of the show starting around 7:15pm.
20.
Surely AAW has the skinny on this and can update us.
Yes I do. But I have been asked by his family to not make anything public just yet. Soon, guys, soon.
21. Why is this thread down here and not in the deleted forum?
22.
Is it.... Jeremy Johnson: [Hidden Content]
That article was from back in August. JJ is still at WVU, suiting out every game. As for him not being a QB, that's laughable. Recruiting services had him listed as a top 10 nationally ranked dual threat QB. He was recruited by the likes of WVU, Baylor, Michigan, TCU, and others for the QB position. Will he be down this week at the Lamar game? Hmmmmmmm........
23.
And their bench? How strong is it?
Probably about 3-4 deep, mostly guards. Tigers will be a more up tempo type team this year.
