New Waverly  ???
I would say Woodville followed by New Waverly, East Chambers and Goodrich as the next best teams behind Silsbee in this tourney. Spurger and Big Sandy will surprise some folks as well.
2. Cleveland has made it to the Area round the last 4 years in a row. They have won their district the last 3 years straight and got a bye to the Area round.

Both Silsbee and Ozen are undefeated (4-0) and are coming off wins in the Fred Williams Classic. Silsbee took down Kountze 90-78 while Ozen defeated cross town rival West Brook, 61-47. 9.
Out of roughly 7000 students, there are no kids 6'5" or taller to play basketball?
I thought the post player for Ozen was '6"8? Even so, only one over '6"5 out of that many students is unbelievable. I can count 6 players from Silsbee over the last 7 years that were '6"6 or better.
10.
I was in Silsbee today. Nice little town. Aggie, I may want to use your address next year ;D
:-X
11. I broadcast 3 of their games this year and attended another. I was given rosters each game with the starters marked on them. I checked them at the start of each game. According to those games I did, the facts I have stated are correct. According to the all-district lists, it matches the rosters and starters I have. Kerry, you cannot convince me that WOS has more than 10-12 starters returning based on these numbers. Sure can't convince me of that "90% returning" statement you made on that game thread of BR.
12. Look, I am not denying that WOS will be any good next year. I think they will have a very good team. But let's call it what it is. You cannot continue to have 16, 19, 16 returning starters every year for the past several years, it just doesn't add up. You also cannot count players who saw playing time as returning starters if they never started. WOS has 17 seniors leaving the team, 12 of which were starters (not even counting Reggie), that does not calculate to 16 starters or 90% of the team returning. Let's get our facts straight, Kerry.

14.
From Coach Dyer WO-S Returning starters 9 on Defense 7 on Offense
::) Then explain how 14 different WOS seniors made all-district. 13 of these players were starters leaving just 9 other starters and yet they have 16 returning starters. HOW????
15. We will have an exclusive SETXsports.com high school basketball rankings starting next week. It will fall along the lines of how our football polls were done with multiple pollsters ranking a top 12 poll covering 56 schools. The polls will be just like football, 5A-3A and 2A-Private. ***RANKINGS TO BE RELEASED TONIGHT, SUNDAY DEC. 5th, 8pm***
16. LU      81 tu      113
17. Silsbee  65 Ozen    62
18. Dove, I would take that advice seriously had you known anything about those 3 teams. ;) Liberty will beat Tarkington in district play.
19. How about this for comparison sake's: Tarkington 69 Hardin       66 Liberty      79 Hardin       44 Look's as though Liberty handled Hardin easily while Tarkington struggled with Hardin, even being down to the Hornets by 20 at one time.
20. A 35-6 win and having twice the offensive yards is beating the crap out of your opponent! Doesn't matter what part of the state you are in. BTW, will you be a Brownwood fan next year when they are not as good? ;)
21. What doesn't matter? That they won the game and advanced? That they won by 4 TD's? Had 200 more offensive yards than their opponent? ::) Just because the "greatest team in the history of Texas high school football" ::) did not win 60-0, does not make it a good 3rd round win. You are probably one of those guys that thought last year's Houston Yates basketball team could have beaten Lamar University. ::)
22. I don't have to be at a game that finishes 35-6, with the winning team out gaining the losing team by 200 yards. That's a good 3rd round win no matter how you slice it. Like I said, prima donna.
23. You going to be angry and complain about a 35-6 third round playoff win? ::) Sounds like this Coach Ship is doing his best to be a prima donna coach. ;) BTW, Scooter, are you trying to take away the title of "Ultimate Bandwaggoner" from Kerry? ;)
24.

I have no dog in this fight (pun intended) but just because a team loses out doesn't make them overrated. Does this mean that the team that wins state is the only team that isn't overrated? Kirbyville is the real deal. Great players and well coached. Let's not denounce an entire team of young men just because of a few posters on a message board. Their hard work and effort has made them a force to deal with. Great win Coldsprings.
Baddog you said a mouth full. Its hard for me to root for CS to go on to the championship with their fans getting on our site talking about we were "Overrated" and haven't played "noboby". This was CS first and ever win over the Wildcats other times its been a whooping in a old fashion way.
Your site?? Since when did this site become a Kirbyville only site? Coldspring is also a school we cover here at SETXsports so it is just as much "their" site as it is "yours". ;)
25. Stallworth actually finished with 39 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 block shots.
