1.
Hunter Gonzales is WAY to low on this list and McDaniel is to high.I saw Gonzales play several game over at HJ this weekend and I was impressed, the kid can play.
What list? Are you talking about my personal list? If so, that's how I personally see it. Let's see your list.
2. Silsbee hasn't played in the Woodville tourney yet this season. Don't know what teams are in this tourney, but have a good idea though. ;) You still haven't answered my question yet unless what you stated in your last post suggests that their schedules are about the same, minus Ball.
3. I never said that you stated that HJ had a tough schedule. I asked for clarification. Are you saying that Silsbee's schedule is not tough, not tougher than HJ's or HJ's schedule tougher than Silsbee's?
4.
I truely know that Lazeek and Catman are Silsbee player haters! Sorry guys! Don't have the players hate the game. Looks like Silsbee will be good for a few more years.
Sorry BADSANTA, you are clueless about LAZEEK and CATMAN.
5. LAZEEK, just for clarification, are you saying that Silsbee's schedule is not that tough, not tougher than HJ's, or HJ's schedule tougher than Silsbee's?
6.

Kelton Gaines will be a top 10 player once he gets in basketball shap.
BS DO U STAY IN HOUSTON.
CATMAN, do you even know who Kelton Gaines is?
7. Dove is no HJ fan. He has two sons who play for Hamshire-Fannett. He may be jealous of Silsbee and HJ, but he is no fan of either.
8. Based on the local players that I have seen this year, this would be my top 10 list: 1. DC Stallworth   Silsbee 2. Garrett Gustafson   HJ 3. Darren Sells   Woodville 4. Prentice Lane  Silsbee 5. David Green   Ozen 6. Zay McDaniel  Kountze 7. Chris Cunningham  Nederland 8. Kristian Smith   Central 9. Adam Wells   West Brook 10. Hunter Gonzales   LCM Honorable Mention: Brennan Doty      PNG Shawn Prudohme   HJ Devon Murphy    Evadale George Whittaker  Spurger Kelvin Smith   Nederland Dionte Forney  Nederland This list is subject to change throughout the season.
9. Dove, how do you know that Ball wasn't focused last night? It was a tournament championship game. They looked as focused as any team Silsbee as faced all year. Your first time to see Ball play this year yet you have the pulse of the team already. ::) Keep trying to downplay the close win by Ball, just makes you look foolish.
10.

I Guess we know who won that Match Up........... :o Stallworth looks like a man among boys every night
DC is good. I ALSO like #23 (?), Lane? He opens up everything if he shoots like he did with Ball game.
I would consider #23 Prentice Lane in the top 5 in our area.
11. So far this season, I have spoken to 19 different local coaches, including 3 from last night. They all have said they believe DC to be the best player in our area, hands down.
12.
Individual scoring for both teams Ball Archie     27 Evans     22 Artmore    9 Johnson    8 Petteway  8 Brown       8 Silsbee Stallworth     22 Lane            21 Gaines          21 T.
Ball's Dedrick Archie scored 13 of his team high 27 points at the free throw line. He was 13-14 from the line. CLUTCH!!
13. Excuse him speechless, BADSANTA is Silsbee's version of mwhizzie. ;)
14. Finally got to meet Bluedove and mommagotjuice last night. Pleasure meeting you both. Momma, may I say you are a very pretty lady. Dove, you obviously married up. ;D
15.
Imagine the talk on this board if Silsbee had actually won the game!!!!! :D :D :D
Jealous??
16. I did speak with Coach Temple after the game, much different attitude than before the game. Quite humble to say the least. He said he was very impressed with Silsbee, "they were a mind changer", direct quote.
17. Rhone did not make the game tonight. Be back next week.
18. Galveston Ball head coach Jerald Temple will probably think twice about making pre-game comments like the ones he made tonight. Playing the top team in 4A was incentive enough for Silsbee but to tell anyone within earshot during warmups that you will have the scrubs finishing off a 20+ point win, was not too bright. I am proud of my Tigers for a great effort. You guys showed a ton of heart and I believe made a bit of a statement on the rest of the season. I spoke to a few coaches from other teams who were in attendance after tonight's game, all were very impressed with the Tigers are were really impressed with the fact that Silsbee never once showed that they were intimidated by the #1 4A team in the state. Silsbee took it to Ball, gave them all that they could handle and then some. Came a breath away from pulling off the upset. Congrats Ball on the win and congrats to Silsbee on proving everyone wrong!!
