[/quote] Strength of schedule is a factor, head to head is a factor, to go along with other factors. But the main "factor" is the simple fact that everyone likes Legacy and nobody likes Kelly. ;) ;D

Super 16 Results! Yates Lions wins the 2011 Greater Houston Fall HS Championships due to forfeit by Strake Jesuit. Enrollment wise and based on these results, looks as though Legacy is playing teams along the same lines as them. nothing wrong with that. Could it be that Legacy just got better and these other teams did not? Can't fault Legacy for that.

Just to follow up: Last year Jasper averaged 26 points a game, but gave up 40 a game. This year Jasper is averaging 30 points a game, but also giving up 30 points a game.

It is very simple. Several years ago Jasper decided to go the offensive route, meaning putting all their eggs in that basket(put the better players on offense, not defense). Since then Jasper's defense has been a shell of what I have grown up to know of a Jasper defense. They simply try to outscore opponents instead of trying to defend. This has been their downfall, particularly the last two years. When Jasper starts putting their better players on defense, you will see a return to glory for Jasper. Until then, it seems that everyone can score 30 points or more on these Jasper teams of late.
