It's nice that you can go on the road and play very sloppy against a descent Jasper team and still come away with a 17 point victory, then play at home and continue to play sloppy but yet get a 38 point win over Anahuac. Teams usually go through a bit of a lull. Hope this is Silsbee's bit. ;)

Just speaking for Silsbee, I don't think there is a 3A team in the state that Silsbee cannot compete with. After taking 4A #1 ranked Galveston Ball to the brink of defeat, I like Silsbee's chances against any of the 3A teams in the state.

Varsity game time is actually 7:30pm. We will start the broadcast around 7:20.

The Kountze Lions, #1 in this week's SETXsports.com Small school poll, will travel over to Evadale tonight to take on the #5 SETX ranked Rebels at 7:30pm in each team's last game before Christmas break. The Lions (13-4) are coming off a win just last night over Newton, 93-62. Evadale (8-6) defeated 1A rival and state ranked Spurger last Friday night.
