Driving to New Caney Thursday night won't be that bad, it's the drive back home that night that may lead me to driving over to Jersey Village and staying the extra night. If not, I will be getting to my hotel in Jersey Village on Friday by 1pm that day to avoid the traffic.

There has been a change in venues for this series. Still playing at New Caney on Thursday night, but will now play Friday's and Saturday's games at Jersey Village High school. Times still remain same.

Not a good weekend for our local baseball teams. :'( Only 3 left: Bridge City Silsbee Buna Bridge City will face Giddings, Silsbee will take on LaGrange and Buna plays Nac. Central Heights in the quarterfinal round (3rd rd.) Congrats to these teams and congrats to all the teams whose season ended this weekend. Great seasons!!

Game 2 of this best of 3 Area round series between the Silsbee Tigers and the Bellville Brahmas will be TODAY at 11am in College Park HS, The Woodlands. Bellville squeaked out a 2-0 win in game 1 last night and hold a 1-0 edge in the series. Silsbee has to win two today to advance to quarterfinals next week.
