  1. Coop I cant believe your are resorting to the old ref excuse for WOS not having a bigger rout than it was. Coop would never be accused of pulling out the ref card, injury card or the young card. The Young and Injuries for sure. Refs have been terrible though. : Yea, I heard that LCM could have had a couple of more touchdowns if it weren't for the refs.
  2. silsbee's lost to dibol has lowered an expected good game with wos. : Admin, you just stick to baseball.
  3. Due to this being a holiday and that Hamburger Depot is closed, we will not be doing the show tonight. We will do the show tomorrow night from Hamburger Depot. We will get back on schedule next Monday night. Thanks for your patience. Enjoy the Labor Day holiday! Mike Sanchez, SETXsports.com broadcaster
  4. So we're 2 games into the season with Silsbee blowing out a Houston Davis team with their starters pulled to start the 2nd half and then losing to a solid Diboll team. BC has played 2 winless squads....you're reaching. Anyone doubting Silsbee not being in top three is just plain silly but no need in banging BC for their progress. These kids have been through a pretty big ordeal here of late and are searching for a little respect. There will be some casualties along the way and hopefully we will be fortunate enough to represent our district no matter what the order is. Be careful who you peck on it just might draw blood. GO BIG RED! BC beating Silsbee would not be an upset it would just be another win. WOS is the King for now and that would be an upset. You are kidding yourself if you think BC beating Silsbee would not be an upset.

  8. The Silsbee Tigers coming off their season opening 57-13 win over Houston Davis, will travel up to Diboll to take on the Lumberjacks in a 3A non district battle. Diboll lost it's opener to Kirbyville 62-20 and look to face another tough team in the Tigers. Diboll defeated Silsbee last year 27-24 after Silsbee had led most of the game, in fact the Tigers led 24-14 going into the 4th quarter. Silsbee looks to have their second avenge game of the season after losing to Davis last year also. You can catch all the action right here with play-by-play man and voice of the Silsbee Tigers, Mike Sanchez, along with his color man Tim Scoggins. Just click the link on the front page or the one provided in this thread. Broadcast time will be 7:10, with kickoff at 7:30. Silsbee Tiger Football!!! Right here at SETXsports.com!!! 11. My guess is either he is not open or he can't catch. If you have seen him play you know that is not the answer! He can and does do both extremely well, my opinion is the qb doesn't see him open, or can't complete the pass to him! and that could lead to the line not being able to protect the QB. It's hard to see the entire field if you are running for your life. I have no idea what's happening on the field with BC, I am just giving you reasonable answers to the questions put forth. The "QB doesn't like the reciever" reason is about as foolish as it gets. That has no merit.
  12. Nice. Care to reply, Weed? It's 1-1 for folks scoring at home.

  15. Always got to find that little smudge on that freshly painted wall. TT just doing what he considers is his job. : When it comes to Lamar, TT is the ultimate pessimist.
  16. i'm pretty sure everyone is in full pads the day before the game (reguardless of race). The reason WOS is so good is because they have one of the biggest enrollments in 3A have always had so much talent to work with and and a coach that has been there forever and has a system that works. I guarantee you WOS does not work any harder than alot of teams in this area. And as for the comment about white kids, that's completely absurd for someone to say especially for an adult with a kid that plays football. In my opinion you're no different than any of the other band-wagon riding "t-shirt" fans if that's the way you think about football. Lets see, "NO" most teams do not practice in full pads the day before the game. "NO" WOS does not have one of the biggest enrollments in 3A. Yes , I do agree they do have talent and a coach being there forever helps. But, Hooks is Old School and so are the parents and that is the edge. It is Hooks way are the highway. There is no in between. That is the difference. By the way you are wrong again. My kids are out of school. When they was in school I supported that coach and teacher 100%, no matter what. My kids were wrong and they were right. You have no clue what I am about. I know more about football than you will ever know. look i'm not going to get into a childish argument on the internet because honestly, the 2 biggest enrollments in 21-3A are 1)Silsbee and 2)WOS don't believe me? look it up. And you can't honestly sit here and tell me WOS's "old school" approach is their "edge". You don't think their edge were athletes like Beasley, Thomas, DPG, Andre Bevil... the list goes on. that's their edge. Actually, Bridge City is the second largest school in 21-3A. Here are the enrollment numbers: 1. Silsbee 843.5 2. Bridge City 707 3. West Orange-Stark 691 4. Hardin-Jefferson 662 5. Hamshire-Fannett 568 6. Orangefield 521 Other than Silsbee, everyone else is pretty simular in numbers as far as a whole district is concerned.
