Harvinder Singh of Huffman placed first in 3A Boys 3200 meters. Taeler Marshall of Huffman placed 3rd in 3A Girls 3200 meters.

The Silsbee Tigers will take on the Bellville Brahmas in a best of 3 Class 3A Region III Area round playoff, starting with game 1 TONIGHT at 7:00pm at Summer Creek HS in Atascosita. Silsbee, 21-3A runnerup, took down Splendora in the Bi-District round, 11-1 (5). Bellville, 24-3A champs, received a bye in the first round. Game 2 will be Saturday at 11:00am with game 3 if necessary to follow 30 minutes after game 2. Those games will be played at College Park, The Woodlands. Game 1 tonight has been postponed till tomorrow. Tentative schedule: Game 1  Tomorrow night at 7pm Games 2 and 3 Saturday start at 11 am. The site may change due to the schedule change. Will post info on site when it is finalized.

Reports are stating the rain will be in Houston by 4pm and remain for a minimum of 2 hours before moving out.

I would be totally shocked if Todd Sutherland left Hardin-Jefferson to coach at East Chambers even if his brother was the AD there. BTW, you are assuming when suggesting that EC would hire Todd's brother just to get Todd at EC. That has nothing to do with it.
