1. Get those questions and comments posted. Robert and I will discuss them in our last segment.
 2. Current win streaks of 10 or more games, thru Feb. 6: Nederland        17 Silsbee            15 Teams who have had win streaks of 10 or more this season: Kountze            14 Hardin-Jefferson  13 Vidor                  12 Woodville            10 Teams currently on good runs of 10 or more games: Nederland has won 23 of last 25 Silsbee has won 22 of last 23 HJ has won 18 of last 20 Kountze has won 15 of last 17 West Sabine has won 14 of last 15 East Chambers has won 12 of last 14 OCC has won 11 of last 12 Cleveland has won 11 of last 13 others Ozen has won 9 of last 11 Coldspring has won 8 of last 10 Goodrich has won 8 of last 9 Crosby has won 8 of last 10 Big Sandy has won 8 of last 10 Anahuac has won 7 of last 9
 3. I'll put one together for the state tourney only, all classifications. I will do a Region III pickem though. It will involve all classifications.
 4.
yates, ball, brenham and humble
Good selections. Nederland and Humble are likely to face each other in the quarterfinal round (3rd round). Winner would advance to regional tourney. With Brenham likely winning district, they are like Nederland in that they will not see Ball, LaMarque or Yates till the regional tourney.
 5. Tonight join me, Mike Sanchez (AAW), along with Robert Sells (BMTSoulja) as we host the SETXsports Weekly Preview Show from the Hamburger Depot, Neches St., in downtown Beaumont. We will catch everyone up on the district standings, go over last week's games, preview this coming week's games, go over the state rankings and our very own SETXsports.com Dirty Dozen rankings, get started on some playoff talk and then in our last segment, have our ever popular Discussion segment where you the listener can join in on the fun. Our show time will start at 5:40 pm till 7pm. So come on down to the Hamburger Depot tonight and join in on some great food and fun. If not, you can listen right here at SETXsports by clicking on the link provided. SETXsports WEEKLY PREVIEW SHOW, LIVE TONIGHT at Hamburger Depot!!! [Hidden Content]
 6. If Ball and LaMarque finish 1-2 in the district(which is expected), they would not face each other until the regional final. Nederland being distict champs, they would not see Ball, LaMarque or Yates till the regional tourney. If Ball wins their district and them and Nederland win their respective playoff games (1st-3rd rounds) they would face each other in the regional semifinals. If LaMarque finishes 2nd behind Ball, they would face Yates in the 2nd round. Nederland's path to the regional tourney looks really promising.
 7. To be accurate, Silsbee beat HJ by 8 in the first game, not 6. I'm suing!!!! ;D
 8.
BTW-Rcssports.com has Nederland ranked 18th in the region and Silsbee ranked 20th in the region(all classifications included)
And that means?
 9.
What teams pose a threat to Silsbee in their Region besided HJ or Cleveland. No one else really seems that strong. Maybe Dibol?
Diboll?? That's pretty funny. Other than the teams you have mentioned (HJ and Cleveland) teams that will be a challenge would be Coldspring, LaVega, Sealy, and Mexia. Also, don't count out Navasota, Groesbeck and Stafford.

I already told you guys who would win. Seen plenty of basketball this season, seen over 70 different teams play. Silsbee and Nederland are the best two teams in this area, but Silsbee is just a little bit better. Tigers win by 5. (of course, I am a bit of a homer ;D)
::) ::) ::)
LAZEEK, you doubting the fact that I have seen that many teams this year?
Yes!!!
Do I need to provide a list for you? I have been keeping up with the amount of teams I have seen this season. Something I have been doing regularly since I started broadcasting.

 13. Till they meet up with a good team. ;D I'll have to see how the brackets unfold.
 14. Final PAM            42 Channelview  53
 15. Stafford would not beat Cleveland, HJ or Silsbee.
 16. End the speculation and lock this thread. It's quite simple, Silsbee wins. Case closed. ;) ;D BMTSoulja told me tonight Silsbee would win, so that takes care of it.
I beg to differ BADSANTA. Silsbee 11-12 deep, really? That many play every game? Nederland plays 11 EVERY game. Kelvin Smith is named 'the smooth operator' for a reason. Ain't no crushin' gonna happen IF they face off.
Silsbee plays all 12 players, every game. In the Galveston Ball game, Silsbee had played all 12 players by the end of the 1st quarter an continued to sub in that manner the entire game.
 19. Broadcast will start in 5 minutes.
 20. Final Silsbee     48 WOS        66
 21. Looks like it will be about a 3:45 start time.
 22. end of 3rd Silsbee    34 WOS        41
 23.
you sure have strong opinions about teams for not even having seen a game in Texas this year
That didn't take long to spread. ;)
