You guys do know we have a scoreboard show here on the site every Friday night after the games. The OT Scoreboard Show airs at 10:30pm after the games.

If Silsbee were to play Kountze this up coming season (and it still could happen at the Fred Williams Classic) I would say Silsbee would be the favorite and I would predict a Silsbee win by 10-15 at best. But I would not be surprised if the margin of win was less than that. I would be a bit surprised if Kountze won though. ;)

Looked at the current Penn State roster. There are only two Texas players on the roster (Katy, St. Pius). There are no Louisiana players on their roster. Like I stated, really cannot see any of those players transferring to Lamar.

Why would a Penn St. player transfer to Lamar? They can transfer anywhere without penalty. Without looking at their current roster, but I highly doubt there is a state of Texas player on the Penn St. roster. I can't see any player from the northeast of the country transferring to Lamar.

Jones (Irving transfer) could possibly start but I expect those previous 5 mentioned to be the starters for the Tigers.

Talked to Silsbee coaches at the summer tourney and got some info on the basketball schedule for the up coming season. The Tigers will play the same three tourneys as last year, Nederland, YMBL and Sherman. Beaumont Central is back on the schedule after not being on it last year. Silsbee will still play in the Fred Williams Classic but look for them to have a different opponent than Kountze. Possibly West Brook or PA Memorial. With 21-3A getting an additional 2 district games, this will have the district starting a week earlier than normal. This probably will cut back on a few non-district games. There are some other intriguing potential non district opponents being discussed for Silsbee, will pass along when these games are set.
