But, but, but, Who has the better playoff record?
I am only looking at the head-to-head match up. Not concerned about who has done better in playoffs, tradition and so forth.
Then take it from the first game till now and let us know who has the better record. Don't try to put a spin on it! ;D
48-32-7, in favor of PNG. But I was just curious what the record was since Neuman came on board.
How many District Championships has Neuman won?
Not sure. Just know that he has a 67% win percentage(12-6) against PNG. That is what I was interested in.
In the first 3 games this year, WOS had a big problem to fix. "PENALTIES" I think they did much better this week. Even with a 3 and 1 record WOS could still win district but they will need to bring their "A" game when they play Brige City and Orangefield.
and their A+ game when they play Silsbee. ;) ;D BTW wine-o, WOS is 1-3. ;)

Has WOS ever had a losing season record?

I think with the rich history of WOS they haven't ever had a losing season; however, not sure on that. Does anyone know?
That is correct, 1983 is the only losing season the Mustangs have had. And, much to your dismay, 2011 won't be the second.
I predict a 7-3 regular season. I don't see them loosing the rest of the way. Folks forget they lost to two good 4A programs on last second 2 point conversions and by 8 to a big strong Giddings team that is a 3A power year in and year out. No one they face the rest of the way will be as good.
I am thinking my Tigers will give the Stangs a run for their money. I think Silsbee has a serious chance of beating WOS. We will see. -

Question for the Dawg fans. I am trying to remember when Neuman's first year as head coach at Nederland. Was it '96?

Just because a guys around for 30+ years we are suppose to forget the fact he blamed the players for the loss. Kids are gonna make mistakes they are human but don't throw them under the bus when it was very obvious the play caller clearly didn't have his act together so therefore it's going to cause the players to look as though they don't know what they are doing. I don't recall him being "thrown under the bus" on public radio. Just sayin'
I heard the interview a little while ago. He talked about some players being selfish and not being team players. Personally, I think they should play it again on the loud speakers at practice so everyone can hear it because he was right on the money. Ridiculous to accuse him of throwing someone under the bus. It's motivation and is absolutely necessary at times and this is one of them.
EXACTLY!! This is the message I got from that interview.
