8. Memorial fortunate that Cview has no defense. Squeaked this one out.
 9. I have read through every page of this game thread at least 4 times now, and I have yet to read where someone blamed Garrett Drake for the Tigers loss last night. Am I missing something here? I have seen no player bashing on this thread so why are people making posts in defense of Drake?
 10.
Is Reed ok?
Spoke with coaches after game. He should be back next week, if not for sure the following week against WOS. Silsbee has HJ next week so I could see him being held out of that game if he is not 100%.
 11. PAM keeping Cview in this game with turnovers.
 12. 9:17 left 1st PAM        7 Cview      0
 13.
Not sure the last time BC beat WOS? Going with the Cards this year: BC 20 WOS 14
How about never. WOS is 21-0 against Bridge City all time.
 14.
Man am I stupid. I would have bet my house that  Silsbee would win this game.
I would have bet my house that we would not have thrown 6 interceptions. ;) >:( :'(
 15. Anahuac leads series 25-22-2 I would say when two teams have played against each other almost 50 times (49 to be exact) and one team has only won 3 games more than the other in the series, I would consider that a rivalry.
 16.
Looking at the Poll at the top of this thread....early return has WOS the underdog....previously has WOS ever been considered the underdog in this matchup?
Never
 17.
In the last two games he has not stepped on the field.
That is what I was afraid of. Why bring a freshman up to varsity for him to just sit the bench, particularly at QB? Let him get all that playing time on JV. It would be better for him in the long run.
 18.
So let's say W-S beats BC by 7 and then Silsbee wins out does that make Silsbee district champs just curious
In that scenario with BC, Silsbee and WOS tied with 4-1 district marks, it is very simple. All three would be considered Tri-Champs. Silsbee would go Div. I WOS would be #1 seed DII BC would be #2 seed DII
 19.
The way I see it is as follows Orange field will beat HF, BC, and HJ WOS will beat Silsbee, HJ, and BC BC will beat HJ, HF, lose to OF and WOS Silsbee will beat HJ, lose to WOS, and beat HF. Now you have WOS district champ and a 3 way tie for 2nd and 3rd. Doesn't it go based on head to head then points. Silsbee has score 15 and 0. Thoughts?
Well, if the scenario plays out like you have stated (I am saying it won't) that Silsbee, BC and Orangefield end up in a 3 way tie for 2nd and 3rd, then it would come down to a points tie breaker. Currently this is where the points stand with those three teams: Silsbee +2 (8 point win, 6 point loss) BC +6 (6 point win, yet to play Orangefield) OF-8 (8 point loss, yet to play BC) Silsbee (as long as they finished tied with these two teams) are a virtual lock for one of the playoff spots due to them being on the plus side of points after playing both BC and OF(+2). Orangefield would have to beat BC by 7 or more to qualify. ( a 7 point win would give OF and BC a total of -1, with the nod going to OF with the head to head win over BC) BC can lose to Orangefield by 6 or less and still make playoffs.
 20.
I feel sorry for the Silsbee defensive players and defensive coaches. What an effort and to still lose
Yes indeed. Silsbee defense played well enough to win by 2 TD's!
 21.
OUTSTANDING game by both teams
I would agree that Silsbee's defense played outstanding. The offense..... NOT!!!!
 22.
Does anyone have any "fun facts" of this game?  ;D
Yep. 6 INTERCEPTIONS!!!!!! nuff said
