I agree with Coach Woodard in the fact that Lamar is recruiting and getting local players. I think it is proven by the amount of local players already on the roster and with this recruiting class. I do not think that can be questioned. BUT, what I think can be questioned is the QUALITY of the local recruits, not the quantity. I'll let the experts address that issue. ;)
Nothing else needs to be said.....you hit the nail!!
What quality recruits did they miss that they should have gotten? As for Wilson; that is a snob/snot family. I'm sure he was too good to even consider going to Lamar in their eyes.
Grow up and stop acting like a two year old. Someone needs to ban this guy. That's just wrong. What makes you so great to judge a whole family then put it out in the public for that matter. How about you tell mr Wilson about his snobby family instead of posting it on a forum. What is your problem? And what did the Wilson family do to you? Did his brandtley's dad start over you in high school or what? :o
You will not be hearing from that guy for a while. ;) -
NAME CHANGE ALERT!!!!! Be on the look out! ;D

Central's inconsistency lies with their defensive play. If they play defense like they did against Nederland the last time, they are a very good team. It takes the pressure off of their offense and not having to force the issue as much on that end. IMO, it's all about their defensive play that makes the Jags good. BTW, I too think Nederland is a very good team and extremely well coached. But, my observation I think is a very clear one on what their weakness is and every team has some sort of weakness no matter how good they are.

It could very well happen (though I am not betting on it ;)). But, if it were to happen, then there will be a three way coin flip to determine what team gets a bye while the other two will play it off. Winner of that game would then play the team that won the bye in the coin flip to determine who advances to the playoffs as the #3 seed.
Stanley Bonewitz Jr.- San Antonio East Central Troy House-Ingram Moore
IMO, House was an overrated player. That guy shot an average of 28 to sometimes 40 times a game! You shoot that many times, you are bound to average 30 or more a game like he did. ::)

Where are the rankings? TABC still showing the rankings from last week. Post a link please. -
Fact, I have seen enough of Nederland this year to know that they are a great "spot" shooting team. Pass the ball to shooter, spots up and hits three pointer or just inside line. What is their weakness is having to create their own shots. Nederland really only has two guys that can do that consistently. What Central did was defend the spot shot and forced Nederland to put the ball on the floor and shoot off the dribble. Central forced them into their weakness. Why Central did not do this the first game in district (I was there) is beyond me. Central defended much better this time around.

AggiesAreWe replied to BADSANTA's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Aggiesarewee, what was the kids name for Silsbee back in 07 who wore number 14. He had a few big put back dunks in the playoffs. I think his nickname was "Bull" or something like that.
He went by "Frog". Name has slipped my mind though. -
Ya Ozens plan is to beat Nederland down because I heard that they will use point difference to figure out the standings.
Incorrect. Points do not come into play in any tiebreaker in basketball.
