It's the 2nd round of the boys high school basketball playoffs but it's the first playoff game for the 21-3A district champion Silsbee Tigers as they face 23-3A 3rd place Houston Kashmere Rams in a class 3A Region III Area round playoff game at Lee College, Baytown, TONIGHT 7:30pm. Silsbee (24-9) #10 in TABC state polls, had a bye in the bi-district round while Kashmere (19-14) defeated Stafford, 61-58, to advance to 2nd round. These two teams met very early in the season with Kashmere getting the win at home 71-61. The winner of this game will advance to the quarterfinal round to take on Houston Yates.
