3.
"Southeast Texas Prep Track leaders" Probably better titled: "Golden Triangle Districts Texas Prep Track leaders" - or - "3A-4A and 5A area Prep Track leaders" There are several in "Southeast Texas" that are equal to or better than these stats in 1A and 2A.
Please post them if you got them. I went with the title of the article.
 4.
Let's see 0 for 2 = 1st place.  Apparently so, BH beat PNG twice and run ruled GCM yesterday.  Guess those polsters never get accross the mighty Trinity to see real baseball.  ;)
The poll was out before last night's game so the GCM game is irrelevant to this poll. BH wins over PNG were back in early March (March 6). PNG is currently on a 14 game win streak.
He was he head coach there before they moved UP to NAIA...It really depends on the school and level...NJCAA Division I is a bit more regarded than NAIA...It really depends on where you land...This was definitely a step back for Cross...The public is not being told the WHOLE story as to why he left so abruptly saying it was for "health reasons".
Over budget, playing ineligible players, fighting incidents (more than just the one at the conf. tourney) among other things that had nothing to do with "health" reasons.

 7. Game time for tomorrow most likely at 7pm to give field ample time to dry. Will post when official.
 8. I am here at Ronnie Anderson Park and looking at the radar on the computer. Doesn't look like they will get the varsity game in. JV just started. Probably should have went with the varsity game first. [Hidden Content]

I think it all depends on the make up of the team from year to year. Example: A coach that has a very young and inexperienced team needing some confidence may want to schedule opponents that he or she may feel could give them those needed wins for confidence building. A coach with a older more experienced team may want to schedule teams that would really test the teams weaknesses and may take some losses that would bring that team "back down to earth". Also, it depends on what that coach feels is more important to the team, playing as many games as possible (pool play tourneys), or play tougher opponents but lesser games. IMO, a good mixture is needed. Some tough games, some "easy" games, and some even games. A too "easy" or too "tough" schedule could really backfire on a team.
::) Did this guy play any sports?
Much more than you ever did in your life time.
 10.
Just heard a stat that he has pitched to 8% of hitters in MLB history.  Wow! At 49 he became the oldest pitcher to ever win a game and will set a record with every win.  Moyer is a great example to kids that you don't have to throw 95 to get people out.  Location and movement are the keys to being a successful pitcher.
along with some Vaseline, sandpaper, nail file, .............  ;D

 12. There are several reasons why Cross left Lamar PA, none of which were health reasons. This was a mutual agreement but in reality, he left before getting the boot.
 13. The Silsbee Tigers will travel over to Orange to take on the West Orange-Stark Mustangs in a critical 21-3A district game, TONIGHT at 7pm at Ronnie Anderson Park. 14. I wonder if Ozen is still denying that James ran in the 4X400 relay? Exactly what proof of James running in that race was given to the district executive committee for them to make this decision?
 15. I think "some" folks are taking this thread WAY too seriously. ;) ::)
 16.
Who do you have AAW?
Just based on the 4 practices and the spring game I have attended, I would start Berry. But it is very difficult to access the QB position with the "no contact" rule. The coaching staff has not allowed any of the QB's to run the ball and in the spring game when a defender just breathed on the QB, they ruled him down. I know in Jeremy's case, taking away his ability to make plays with his legs minimizes his play making abilities. Jeremy is a dual threat QB and his running ability is what sets him apart from many other QB's. I realize that Jeremy needs some more work in his passing but IMO it is not as bad as some try to make it out to be. I watched the spring game last night and yes JJ was 7-17 for 60 yards, but he had a few drops and 3 completions were nullified due to penalties, 1 of which was a 40 yarder. Also, with the "no contact" rule, he missed out on making some plays with his running ability and I know for sure on 4 plays he would have gained big yards. No QB is standing out right now, but if I had to make a decision on what I have seen, Berry would get the start.
 17. I was a bit disappointed myself. I am afraid this season may be a rough one.
