I cannot remember what team is scheduled to play Silsbee in Texas Jamboree but I know it is not Ozen. It is a Houston area school.

If the plan is to early enroll at Baylor, then by all means do not play basketball. No sense in starting a sport and have no intentions of finishing it, particularly not playing when it really counts. My post was about people stating he is keeping himself out of football games of late to not jeopardize anything. That is not being a football player and surely not a team player, if this is the case. A few of the folks that have told me these things I trust they know what they are talking about. Just has a bad look and vibe.

Sigler tried, but was turned down twice. Not sure why Ozen decided not to play Silsbee last year and this year. They are scrimmaging though but both teams will most likely be without some key players, particularly Silsbee.

Correct in that the young man tore his acl and missed the post season but sadly he was a senior last year. I spoke with him during warmups of the Silsbee game and he told me that the school that offered him was staying committed to him with the scholly. Can't remember the school.

When is Dallardsville a 3 hour drive from Beaumont? It's just 35 minutes from Silsbee. Drove it many times. It's roughly an hour's drive from Beaumont. Jasper is a farther drive from Beaumont.
