My guess is no since he was on the 09-10 Team as a Freshman and hasn't missed a season since.
As far as I know, that would be a good guess. Personally, I am not expecting him to play next year, but I do not know all the eligibility rules.
 3.
So is he eligible next year?
Not sure.
 4. Our Dirty Dozen rankings have been updated for week of Feb. 10. Posted up top in sticky topic.
 5.
Isnt Elam a Senior?
Elam is classified as a junior. He will graduate next year.
 6.
San Augustine    Plays          E.C. Big Sandy          Plays            Jasper
Yes, this is correct. East Chambers is doing a playoff preview this coming Friday. I have been in contact with East Chambers the last couple of days to finalize the games. We will be broadcasting these games. They are trying to get a third game so that is why I have not posted the info just yet. Will post when everything is finalized.

I didn't see one last night. Why don't you go on over to the basketball forum where you belong.
Actually, Kashmere and Sterling are currently tied for 3rd in 23-3A and play each other in final district game this coming Wednesday. Sterling beat Kashmere in the first game 63-39. The winner of that game would be the 3rd seed and play 24-3A #2 seed Stafford in Bi-District round. Winner of that game would face Silsbee in 2nd round (Area)
is Kashmere that bad this year or Sterling just a better team than them?
Both teams are pretty good. Houston Sterling is much better than they have been in the past. Kashmere did beat Silsbee's JV earlier in the season. ;)

 17.
As I figured. Any idea on what the high water mark was for Silsbee? 1300-1400 would be my guess in late 70s early 80s.
I graduated in '82. My senior class was 252. Our enrollment then was around 1250.
 18.
IMO if you move the games back home and make the ticket situations fair to parents, it could work. Like I said give each player on each team 4 game tickets. Give the visiting school 40% and home team 60%. Make all ticket purchase s come from the admin offices. These 2 schools will never fill Ford Arena.
But filling Ford Arena is not the point or goal. The point of playing there was to allow more to attend than what could attend at the home courts. No locking of doors, no fire marshal situations, no headaches for both schools administrations. It's a win win for everyone involved. The players and coaches enjoy playing the game at Ford Arena. Why go back to a headache when this facility can accommodate all?
 19.
I expect Silsbee and HJ to face off in Huntsville again. I think there is something special about this Silsbee team.
So you expect HJ to make Huntsville if they finish 3rd in district?
 20. Just looked it up. Silsbee's enrollment in BS years ('96-'98) were around 1080.
 21. 15:23 left Lamar      22 SHSH      44
 22. Halftime Lamar      20 SHSU      31
 23. 1:27 1st Lamar      14 SHSU      30

 25.
Thats good to hear! Hopefully that growth can help us stay strong for years to come. Didn't Silsbee have a few kids about 5 years back move to Ozen?
I was just aware that it was the Bolton kid and that was it.
