Why do we have a thread about a game that is not going to happen?

Silsbee will not be 2A. Not going to happen. Actually, Silsbee will be 4A next year. ;)

That's over a 1000 less that what has attended the two games at Ford Arena this year. Game needs to stay at Ford Arena so that it can accommodate everyone with no problems.

That was their enrollment number for this current realignment.

With the numbers Silsbee has 9 wins out of 12 games in the past five years and 12 wins out of 19 games since 2007 the "tide" has only been going in one direction. And everyone of the games played have been good and entertaining. There is no other game played in SETX that can bring enough fans to be played at a venue like Ford Park. Since both teams have been in same district ('07), HJ won 4 of the first 6 games played between the two. Since then, Silsbee has won 10 of 13. I would say that is turning it around. ;)

I'll have to go scope out the new location in Lumberton and see how accommodating it is to do a show from there.

Silsbee football players had 1 day of practice (Monday, Dec. 3rd) and then the game. Not all the football players suited out for the Lee game because they were still nursing some football injuries. Silsbee lost 75-74 at Lee. Those are the facts of the matter.
