  2. Personally, I didn't care for that tactic. On at least 3 occasions, Dontre had an easy offensive put back on a miss, but instead kicked it out for a 3 point attempt, where the shot was missed and BC rebounded. 6 easy points resulted in 0 points. I agree, not fond of shooting that many three's but they did hit 39% which is good. Silsbee was 7/15 in 1st half (47%) but 8/24 in 2nd half (33%) Of course, it's pretty silly of me to be criticle of a 50 point win over the current 3rd place team.
  3. Silsbee's Patrick Hudson signs with Baylor. No surprise

  5. Would still have a bye week during district. Would leave them just playing 8 games in 11 week schedule.

  8. Well, in this last hire, that was not the case. Though his last coaching gig was about 8 years ago as a girls head coach.
  9. In comparison to this: Baytown Lee Beaumont Central Lumberton Nederland PN-G PA Memorial Vidor The district that Ozen opted to stay in is much easier travel wise.
  10. Ozen cannot be in WO-S district. WO-S is DII, Ozen would be DI
  11. Again, correct. This may be one of the rare instances that an appeal is approved, but my money is that Harmony plays 4A.
  12. According to UIL policy regarding charter schools, Harmony has to play 4A. Doesn't matter what numbers they turned in.
  13. Still doesn't make sense. From what I am told, charter schools have to play in lowest classification that the nearby public schools are zoned in. Ozen has 4A numbers but opted up. Therefore 4A is the lowest classification the Harmony can play in, per UIL policy for charter schools. Doesn't matter what numbers they turned in.
  14. Lot's has changed, sadly.
  15. Well, hindsight is 20-20. So it's better to spend double?
  16. BISD made a decision to help in their finances. They cannot help where UIL put West Brook. Think it is a wise decision.
  17. Hill country is that, Hill country, central Texas. I consider west Texas to be west of Fredricksburg, around Junction
  18. Well, it's no farther west than San Antonio and I have never heard SA to be considered west Texas.
  19. That's a bit misleading. Foster did not "back out". They had no choice. They will be playing a district game in week 5.
  20. Some of those were 5A schools like Yates and North Forest. Wheatley and Washington are still 4A DI. Kashmere, Scarborough and Worthing were the only ones that moved up to DI.
