Just to nip in the bud the talk of a potential Kountze vs. Silsbee warm up game, I just received word that Silsbee will honor it's agreement to play Kennedale in Whataburger Playoff Preview in Fort Worth. That's "straight dope". ;)

They were on board to host but now has decided it is too big a game for them to host. HBU pulled the plug on this game, not Yates.

Kind of surprised that they would just cancel the game and not try to find another facility. But I was more surprised they chose HBU facility to begin with. Yates needs to come over here and play. Could play game at Ford Arena.

TABC state rankings have been updated for week of Feb. 11. Rankings posted up top in sticky. A little bit of change this week. Ozen drops completely out of 4A polls, Nederland back in at #25 Cleveland moves up two spots to #23 in 3A. Silsbee, WO-S and HJ remain the same. West Sabine up to #18 from #21 in 1A DI poll. Beaumont Kelly drops out of Big Private school poll.
