When you say closer, what exactly do you mean? 50 points is closer than the 60 they lost by last time.

I keep seeing folks posting a top 10 ranking but not attempting to include all our area coverage teams. How about someone impress me and give me a top 15 including all our teams?

Next year the rankings will go by classifications. Still be 6A-4A, but the other poll will be 3A-1A. The private schools will go by their TAPPS classification. Kelly will be in 6A-4A poll, Legacy and OCC in 3A-1A poll.

Why are you not including all the teams we cover here at SETXsports? That's what our rankings include and you would see why it is a little more difficult than just picking the very very local.;)

Silsbee has averaged a 58 point win margin in district play. Beat OF by 37, HF by 62, LC-M by 60, WO-S by 45, BC by 34, OF by 84 and HF by 87.

Nope. Silsbee scored 98 against Orangefield first time, 94 against Bridge City first time. The 94-60 score against BC is the closest game so far.

Silsbee is averaging 110.3 points per game in district play.

If you play 3 tourneys, you are only allowed a total 19 games (non district and district combined). If you are under that total, you can play a warm up game. After the last district game, Silsbee will have played a total of 18 games, excluding the three tourneys. They would be allowed to play a warm up game. Problem is, who would play them? I spoke to Coach Sigler on this matter and he said he would only play a high level 6A or 5A team. Not sure there will be any available or willing to play.

My thoughts Yes and No. Yes if they play their best, no if they don't play their best.

As of today, Silsbee would face Huntington and Central would get either Dayton or Barbers Hill
