Sometimes the opponent is too good to try and run and press. Sometimes the opponent is able to control the tempo. Example: Skyline, Argyle, PA Memorial, South Garland and so on.

Simple. The boys games draw more fans therefore there is more ticket sales therefore more of a percentage of the gate for the officials. Economics

I would use it as a tiebreaker for that night. I would go with total points scored (adding the two teams scores).

Starting next week, I will start a pickem contest for Tuesday and Friday games. Probably a 20-25 game pickem schedule for each day. Picks will have to be posted by 5pm of game day. This pickems will be like the past contest I have had. There will be point spreads involved in every game so your pick will have to keep in mind of the spread. It's not just picking what team will win. Example: East Chambers (-23) vs. Hardin (if you pick EC, then they will have to win by more than 23 points to get pick correct. If you choose Hardin, they can lose by as much as 23 and you will get the pick correct) I will post next Tuesday's schedule Sunday afternoon.
