I have no ties to Vidor football, but I love the program and what Coach Matthews is about. But I'd say at this time Vidor may ot need turf, but the reason is I know you're waiting ON FEMA money. They'll drag arse on that. I know first hand. Plus, the brand of football that the Irates run, they can wait a few more years on the turf and play the hard nose football on grass. If the schools are in dire need of fixing, I'd say go that route.. but get that turf at the very next opportunity.. Keep in mind this is my opinion ad only applies to Vidor's unique situation...

Yea, but the win at New Caney wasn't in mud. Those guys know they escaped the game in district. Silsbee simply finished the job in the playoffs.

Foster. Hands down... tons of experience throughout the season, 15 games, 5 playoff games. Can't duplicate experience. And did really well in his progression...

Hey Silsbee, thanks for the wonderful ride. Great run, but this one really hurt. Tiger Nation, thanks fo all the support for these young men and most importantly, # 22. This was a special group and they couldn't ask for a better can base. I'll never forget this 4 year run...

Let me tell you. Silsbee needed a game like this to push them. Refs were horrible, but they played through adversity. Tyler and Adams simply abuses smaller guards. Tough matchup for many teams. Good win. #22 balled out and left it all on the court. Hate to see him so emotional after the game,but I can see why being a senior and all. He single handedly kept the Falcons in this game...

Heck of a season, T-Wolves... Was a great season following you in this first year. The cupboard isn't empty. I expect another good run next year....
