North Shore has lost some of their steam after the loss to United in Beaumont. I don't think NS will be a factor. I dint even think they'll make the regional tournament...United just needs to keep playing good ball and getting better. Good thing about the playoffs is those other guys need to play good ball too or they'll be going fishing early as well. Memorial is good, really good, but it just don't sit well for me with the close games with the Ant Mound. The Memorial team last year, you seen early that those guys were special and had an extra gear they always went to in the 4th period. Silsbee is a runaway freight train to state. But there, it concerns me if they meet a team with length or a team with a dominant and skilled big man. But I'm sure they'll cross that bridge when they get to it. Because Silsbee will be the most experienced team at the tournament regardless of classification, imo... What did EC lose from last year's team?

I was just discussing this with a fellow Central alum. His son is the star player on Morton Ranch. Both of agreed that region 3 is a grindhouse. But they beat Cinco Ranch 3 times, the same Cinco Ranch team that have United it's worst loss all season. But I think United is peaking at the right time.

Silsbee will need to play the starters more than usual and put this game out of reach fast. This is the last team you want hanging around at any point. Go up by 25 before you empty that bench. It really bothered me how the bench played vs. H-F last week. H-J is another animal. But we'll see how Coach Sig plays it....

C'mon. Lol. Its apples to oranges. If Nederland plays NS close, but lose, its still a non argument, especially if they were in the same district. But they are not in the same district. In reality, Even if Nederland upset NS, no biggie. Not in the same district.

Yea, McCain was in street clothes and didn't play but was very vocal from the bench. Injury and was sat out like a previous poster stated. H-F scored 50 because the bench played a lot. H-F was a me to score a lot vs them, much to the disappointment of Coach Sig. Adams scored 57 points in limited time. H-F had no one that could come even remotely close to checking him. Dunk count was 2-0, both dunks by Adams. Bench has some kids that can go and I'm glad they're getting all these minutes in district play. I have a feeling this playoff run, were gonna lean on those guys in the later playoff games. Shout out to the H-F fans and players for hospitality. First time at H-F gym for a basketball game.
