Defense!! Defense!! Defense!! 
Should be a lot of that going on in practice this week. LCM's DL needs to do their job of plugging holes and linebackers stay focused on the run. I'm sure they're going to be hit from all sides. Vidor will control the ball like they always do and eat up the clock. LCM needs to control the their possessions of the ball as well. But its going to come down to defensing and stopping the slot t. You would think the coaches have figured it out by now. But the question is can the coaches, coach it into the players. I think if LCM starts off like they did last week it will be a close game but they will win it. They can't do like they have in the past and dig them selves in whole that they can't get out of. Vidor controls the ball to good to be playing catch up all night.

St Thomas would run over LCM. They are a really really really good team! #1 private school in the state according to some rankings their twitter has posted this last week. 

They'd barely beat BC, lose to HF and Nac, and I don't know enough about St. Thomas to make a prediction there.

I agree with Boneyard. That was a great analysis. We don't run the slot t like we used to. There's no misdirection and no deception. Our offense is way too predictable. In the past you never knew who had the ball. Now, you know who is getting the ball and where it's going when they break the huddle.....which leads to my next question. If we are a ground and pound, control the clock team why do we sprint to the line and go hurry up every play. We don't let everybody get set and we have several false starts every week.  We probably had 8 last night.
And why, when we do try to pass, we roll the qb left against his body to the short side of the field and then try to throw to a kid who is a lineman and has never caught a pass in his life. We aren't fooling anybody and we don't give ourselves any chance to be successful. Rant over

Ok Folks- I know everybody is waiting on me to post the final score since I predicted last weeks score on the money. WOS- 49  LCM- 0 (No disrespect to LCM, but it should be a long night for the Bear defense).

Mustangs are going goose egg hunting. I don't believe LCM has enough on defense to slow WOS offense down and WOS defense will be looking to keep LCM out of scoring range. WOS 35+ LCM 0. Good Luck and stay injury free.

I just don't see it happening Bear. It's really a shame we should have been making adjustments this season. There's never a plan we just go in there and see what happens imo

I vary rarely ever say anything about coaching, but the Bears just wasn't prepared tonight at all.  Especially on defense.  They looked as if they have never seen a team run the Slot T before and they see it everyday in practice!  The defense looked clueless as to what to do. Especially in the first half.

I was told by a reliable source that if kids at LCM were coached like WOS coaches their kids, then LCM wouldn't have a team! I know it not the PC thing to say but maybe there is real truth to this!

Now's the time that LCM should bring up the guys on JV that deserves the opportunity to play up. May as well use the rest of this year getting them ready for next year especially the linemen and a QB.

Congratulation BC on the win you guys were awesome. Also congrats for hanging 40 and more on LCM which I didn't think would happen if LCM would have came out playing looking as if they even practiced this week. I know that there is few LCM fans on this site but for the few, this is what we get when admin. excepts the football program to be just alright. Your not going to find to many coaching staffs to come in like BC's for what this staff is getting. LCM 17 believe me the fans in the stands and the community are the only ones that really care. BC congratulation you guys did it right. Now that's negative.

This is nothing new. CT breaks the season down into 3 sub seasons. Pre-district, district and playoffs. Kids are moved up (and sometimes down) based on performance for each.

Not only that we haven't really hurt anybody in this district in any sport. It may be my imagination but I think we played better back when we were at the now 5a level then what we do now.

Jasper IS a different team but WOS beat Jasper, Silsbee and LCM and LCM played them the closest by far and was the only one to hold WOS to less than 7 TDs.  LCM 55, Cleveland 6...  BC 42, Cleveland 35.   Just saying I think defense will win...  I'm picking Jasper, Huffman, Silsbee and LCM... BC needs to beat one of the 4 and they haven't yet.

My friend BC doesn't have enough athletes on defense to stick with Silsbee. BC has a weak passing gane and I think Silsbee has enough to stop the running game. Silsbee offense scores in bunches. BC won't beat LCM if there not careful. 

Someone needs to go back and check the scoreboard results. LCM has played some good teams. If BC hangs 40 on LCM they will be the first. It's not going to happen with these types of offenses.
