  1. glad to see everyone getting off to  a great start. However, sure would have been nice if the hometown paper would have had SOMETHING about PAM. smh...i see it still will continue...the golden haired children of MC, get press first. the first excuse when PAM was 5A/6A was that they play away from the triangle and the three teams they cover (nederland, pn-g, and BC) would get more coverage. well now PAM is in the same conference, the "HOME"  team, AND have been added back to play all the local teams and who do you see on the front page on the first day?? smh...if PAM does well, i prefer the PASnooze NOT write articles. If they do horrible, i'm sure something will be said probably everyday. what?? i'm crazy??? sit back and watch.

Ok, so about the same time Ned won their title.(1957)  Lincoln was allowed to play in the UIL after integration, they didn't win one.

you said titles..a title is a title. a team from PA competed against other teams around the state and won MORE than one. PVIL was basically the same as UIL, except one was for black schools. are you saying uil>pvil titles???

I expect Central to be able to hold their own against either of those guys, Dayton or Crosby... So Central will be fine...

so ball will be D2?? that sucks, was hoping PAM gets out the first rd, so we can play Ball so i could see the look of disappointment on my wife and son faces lol

You have no room to talk, when was PA's last title?   Before Pangea??

Actually, PA Lincoln has a titles in the PVIL from back in the 50's.  IN 53 AND 55 3A. and was cochamps with dallas lincoln in 49

don't mean to get all racial, but goes to show you how bad things was and how they didn't allow black schools to be in the UIL. imagine if PA Lincoln was allowed to play in the UIL...which was a weak cream puff compared to the PVIL schools. also other black schools were champions. i seen hebert in there too.

Man they stormed the field, I was crying laughing lol! The visitor side went ghost after that last fumble, could hear a mouse piss on cotton, I think they were really in shock, not because they lost, but because of who they lost to.

exactly...after a 14 year drought of NO playoffs lol...imo, that game rejuvenated football in PA...well from a lincoln stand point. after that suggs came in.

7-3 was WOS record, and I still cant believe Warnell muffed that punt, I dont think he knew how fast Ricky was to get down there, that was a crazy sequence of events, crowd screaming go for it on one end then the muff, then the go ahead score.

well wos was 7-2 before the game. it was the last game. might want to check that. i'm sure the final standing saw them 8-2 with i think pn-g beating them or they lost a preseason game.

not muff it once, but fumbled it on the following kickoff lol...i remember the home side singing i'm so glad lol...that night, people on lincoln side had tears of joy and enemies became friends lol...wow got goose bumps thinking about it lol.

  7. i know WO-S won't care, but the most PAINFUL loss i witnessed was when P.A. Lincoln beat wo-s. Now for those of you that don't know, this game was for the last PLAYOFF SPOT. WOS was 8-1 Lincoln was like 5-4 or 7-2...anyway the game was won on TWO fumbles by wos. after the game, wos players were seen visibly crying and the look on their face was shock. Lincoln had made it to the second round and got be by hallsville 21-14. WO-S was at home with an 8-2 record and that was crazy in itself.

You might need to check your definition of donkey stomp.  In 06 and 07  NED, PNG vs LM and Brenham at Reliant. They switched off those two years.   LM won 28-21 vs Ned.

the game wasn't as close as the score would indicate...I was there...as it stormed outside.
