you happy with that?? looks nice to have all those "numbers" like that in order. let me tear this down for you. so roughly 25 years ago back to back titles were won congrats. (prior to that, when was the last time?). okay so, lets throw out EVERYTHING 86 and 87 because all that is doing is adding fluff. they won the  title so the rest will come with that. so after the titles, 3 times they made the final appearances(look at the years between the span) four semi's after the titles again look at the span. seems like every 5-10 years. the bulk of those numbers are 1st and 2nd rounds. this is what i'm getting at. this would be impressive to me if the semi and finals had just as many as the first and second round. lets be honest, making the playoffs was not that difficult. maybe back when it was only the district champ went. most of us will settle for the bottom and think that we are state powerhouses.

yes. the  media and some of the "good ol folks" wanted the school to go away. the new administration was only in for a year and got sscores up and a workable budget. when they took over, the account at 40k in it. now has close to 2 million. Ecomet Burley screwed the district hard and ran it to the ground.

I just want to clear the air before MANY people get severe butthuritis= butt hurt. This forum is pure entertainment i don't take stuff personnel. now if you get offended, don't read my threads. now with that out of the way, i want to continue my debate from last year....well not continue, but wanting everyone to observe the season in the golden triangle and surrounding coverage area and compare it to other areas of the state that produce a 5rd or better representative EVERY year, not one every 7-10 years. (no disrespect to the small schools, but i'm talking 4a-6a). i respect the effort ALL our local boys give and busting their tail out their in this heat day in and day out. i want to put the spot on the adults and the community for accepting "just make it to the playoffs and be happy for a week or two" attitude. IMO, we don't demand more out of our program. first off, this is not intended to pick on or beat down on coaches. since every code brown, bulldog, indian, pony boy, etc...get upset, i'm gonna stick with PAM as an example. there is no way that you soley hand it off on every play to the rb and don't let your qb sell the play. PAM's biggest problem was defense last year. scored enough to win (ugly), but could not stop anyone. yes, new coaches was plugged in and really didn't have much of a scheme or direction. wonder why his staff left??? greener pastures?? IDK. but if we don't start expressing the need for change and excitement, all this area will EVER be is a atleast we went 2-3 rds and every blue moon we have a someone go 5rds or better. just watch the area as a whole. listen to some of the fans at the game and on here.as the year goes on, see if the kids are just going through the motions. then if possible,compare it to  san antonio, outside the houston area along the beltway, austin area. well thats my rant. good day.

i knew how many as well. gonna stop you before that code brown spews like diarrhea. crosby would not survive in PAM's district let alone the playoffs, however, PAM could win your district easily and make a good run in the playoffs, so lets not EVER compare PAM to crosby until both are in the same classification, now sit  and have a seat!!!!

heck, ALL teams suck in that region of the state lol. however, yes i love my titans and LM Coogs lol...it's a once in 10 year or so we have a team go deep. why not our area that sends that one or two 5rds or better EVERY YEAR?? crickets...

lets see once in a lifetime my team did okay in a ONE season coog fan.....ummm...i attended THE BASKETBALL SCHOOL OF TEXAS AT LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL IN P.A. TEXAS 10 CHAMPIONSHIPS WITH ABOUT 20 STATE APPEARANCES(ESTIMATED). PAM made it to the 5th rd of the playoffs not too long ago and was held out of the playoffs last year for the first time since 2008. i tell you ONE GOOD year and fans THINK they are a powerhouse smh lol. oh, i'm sure you were "the man" and played every sport at your school with C on your chest...have a seat son.
