This kind of is similar to when WO-S replaced Thompson with Hickman. One of the top programs in the state replacing a legend who won multiple championships with a coach from a lesser program. Will be interesting to see if he forces his grind it out defensive style or keeps what has been working.

That would not be the right move here… what WO-S needs to do is: 1) hire a proper professional superintendent 2) let supt hire the best football coach available 3) support said supt and football coach/AD and get out of the way

Terrible coaching by WOS. They just don’t have the fundamentals and discipline they had under Coach T

I see this going one of two ways for Jasper with this choice : 1) He isn’t able to bring the discipline and fundamentals required to win at a smaller level outside of that Houston area talent where you can just roll the ball out and play and the program slides downhill 2) He does well for a couple of seasons and then take a job at one of the many likely openings at large schools in the growing area outside of Houston

What do you know about Argyle? If anything like the other sports they are going to be a well-coached fundamentally sound team who make you play their style of play. Great athletic program over there.

If PNG can turn around its program like it has then why can’t Nederland ? This result needs to be motivation for the future and Nederland needs to figure out how to be more competitive.

What happened to Kountze this season ?
