Neumann would be a great choice to come out of retirement and “Coach em up”.. an assistant could serve as recruiting coordinator and keep up the exposure and scholarships that PAM has been doing so well with.

I moved my family out of Nederland and to the Houston area in 2012 in past due to the rundown facilities and the community’s inability to pass a bond.

Lydell Wilson only won at Lamar Consol because the Rodgers brothers. He was not great at CE King and he has just been so so at Seven Lakes. Would not be a bad hire and probably the best on that list. But temper your expectations if that’s the best BISD can get.

What a shame that this could even happen. This “coach” clearly does not have the intelligence required to be coaching at the 4A level. Silsbee admin needs to replace this coach immediately. Kyle Mackey would make a good interim.

That may be but you don’t see Kelly Catholic on any jerseys or the team call themselves that. anyway the point i am trying to make is that this article is written like “poor poor pitiful Kelly they can’t compete with all of these big bad schools” when in fact it wasn’t that long ago that they WERE competing against this level of competition and not losing games to Legacy. I understand that they probably should be in this loser district based on recent performance but the story that is missing here is what the heck happened to this school , why have Houston schools surpassed them so much and what can they do to restore the program or is this going to be the new normal? Is it a bigger issue in regard to the school itself? Apologies for the rant but just some food for thought.

No one calls it “Kelly Catholic”... it’s Kelly. Back when you were in grade school in 2011 they actually competed in the state championship game

The thing I think could lure someone like Westbrook at Jasper or Jeff Bennett at Kirbyville is that the administrative situation at both schools is a circus right now and the political situation is dynamic. Both coaches would be great for WO-S if Cornel can work his magic and get them over there.
