Soulja-  I am responding only because you requested it.  Free throw shooting has been a concern of mine not only this year but for a number of years and the Hawks certainly have lots of room to improve upon it.  At the same time, the 36-1 implies that they have found other ways to get things done( even though we all know how weak their schedule is) and I am hopeful that they can continue to do so.  Needless to say, if the dunk-o-meter and SMRJ meter are pretty busy during the games, then the free throw-o-ometer will be relegated to a lower status.

[/quote] Good post, sir.  But don't be offended because neither one of those individuals intended to offend you.  It was just their grounds to take the opposite side of the issue with me.  I will congratulate you again because you beat a team that can run faster and jump higher and, regardless of the level of play, is considerably more athletic than the Bobcats.  I believe that speaks well for your team and proves there are other variables involved besides athleticism.  Since West Orange beat a local 4-a team that is in the playoffs and lost by 2 to another team that is tied for first in the same district, I feel they are a decent team and it means what Ofield did tonight was a noteable accomplishment.

Nice try, Dickie.  But my statement is correct. HJ validates it many times when it wins against what you describe as more talented teams.  You just aren't going to accept it and thats ok with me because I dont view your "pedigree" as the final word.  As previously stated, it's a very big basketball world out there and opinions are a dime a dozen.  aka: my previous Charles Barkley example.

Dickie- If we can get real honest here, my recollection suggests that when some of the Nederland faithful were talking about and enjoying their recent successes, you came on here and said, effectively, that if Boutte was still there, they would not be enjoying their success.  Whether that is true or not, it did nothing for your image.
