U & I Were the only ones that pick HF to make the playoff before Basketball starter this year.
And people thought we were crazy!!!! ;)
And they still do
 2. I am taking Nederland from both a talent and intellect perspective ;D
 3. From what I can see, pleasant grove had lost only one game before being beaten by Silsbee.  Anybody know who beat them?
 4.
Ozen: 3rd Place in 20-4A Westbrook:  Misses the playoffs (with FOUR teams going) Central: Tied with Nederland for 20-4A district crown...... Am I the only one that sees this as just.....WRONG? ???
Yes
 5. He would be here if his wife hadn't told him otherwise.  No-look, will Gestapo be escorting the Red Devils to Winnie?
The schedule is not and never has been the problem in reality.  Some feel the need to find a way to discredit a situation that they resent or envy, particularly if it is exceeding expectations. If you can't attack the won-loss record, the schedule is the next logical step.  If for some reason that fails, then, even though it is quite a bit less credible, you will hear things like " the refs give them preferential treatment", or "their old coach is in the UIL"  yadda, yadda, yadda.  Bottom line is, if you are winning, you will always face some detractors and nothing can be done about that.
Seriously...you are right..but I think BLUEDOVE3 just likes to give you guys a hard time..I know he is one who can truly appreciate a good basketball program.  As far as the schedule goes, you can really only play the teams locally, for the most part, unless its an out of town tournament, and being that HJ was probably one of the top areas teams, they just have to play whoever they can get to line up in front of them...36-1 is hard to argue against.
Yes it is and that is why the schedule becomes the next logical target.  Funny thing is, if you beat all of the other teams who "allegedly (yes, allegedly) played a tougher schedule, you effectively beat every team that they beat.  As for the Dove, he will always play devils advocate and that is ok with me.

 8. Didnt the bet involve his promise to you to have certain words/sentence in his signature line?
 9.
I totally agree! Steve Nash id love go see that Prudhomme vs Seals-Jones watch up play out. I know neither are TRUE big men but at 6'4 and the way they play this would be must see tv.
Would definitely be entertaining.
 10. Even though our schedule is weak?

When you are finished using that line, please replace it with the following in rather large, bold, letters written in English. " It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice" Has a nice ring/message to it- wouldnt you agree?
sHEEZ! You repubs! Kinda like giving a mom with three children her food stamps, but not being able to use them until next year. Then you change the law on her next year. But she still got the food stamps
If she got a job, we wouldnt have to deal with such a situation.  But in these days, under our current leader, this is how the change would go:  Mom gets food stamps this year even though we cant afford to give so much to so many.  If she keeps them till next year, president declares the food stamps to be twice as valuable with the increase being paid for by the "rich" in the name, of course, of doing their fair share and "shared" sacrifice.
 12.
Maybe. I have some idea of whom you may be speaking about.  :-X  ;)  ;D
Very well done, sir.  I applaud you.  However, you may want to remove the part with my name on it.  It wont look too good the next time I am banned.
 13. THis region is exceptionally tough and it looks to me as though there are no easy games for anyone in the playoffs
Do you think it will resonate with anyone?
 15.
You guys are wild! Everyone in the state of Texas knows our head coach is Sigler. I don't think coach has been to Austin with a Silsbee team while Brooks, Collins, and Macky have. All I have to say is that Spledora has 2 chances to win this game. Slim and None. I hear Slim will be out of town. Lol just saw Don King say this on ESPN.
Santa, I agree with you.  However, there was this game with Jasper in Huntsville not too long ago.

 17.
Better? lol.  ;D
Much more tolerable.  Now, if you don't mind, convert it to Yiddish or Cantonese
 18.
I agree. The reason I started this topic is bc many have said certain teams have No Talent or this team has more talent than that team. If that's the case, wouldn't the more talented team win more so than not? It raises a question when team A has no talent, yet is winning more than team B who is suposedly 'loaded with talent'. I think 'talent' does include all of these, but some only look at one component that has been listed and make their decision based on that one quality.
Very good point. I agree. But you know you'll never get him to agree with you.
VP- How long are we going to have to read your new signature line?  It's very painful
 19. Hj vs Stafford saturday at E. Chambers has been changed to 4 pm
 20. Doesnt matter if they played 25 straight games against Our Mary Mother Of The Blind- They are still playing and thats what counts

 22. It is imperative that we find a way for you to have a better opinion of yourself.
 23. I may want to interview the Dove and get a copy of the results his scheduling expertise has produced over the years.  If it is that impressive, I have some good connections at HJ and am confident I could get them to take advantage of his knowledge.
 24. Before your "glorious" return to this board, there were several experts(self perceived, of course) that voiced multiple complaints about how the inferior schedule of HJ as compared to other area notables would be a detriment.  HJs record against those notables says that claim had no credibility in the least.
