The paper made too big of a deal out of a dunk.  They should have shown a pic of a SMRJ.

I have a close associate who attended a LaVega home game about 2 weeks ago.  His remark was that they were good but he did not consider them to be unbeatable.  He said that he felt as though they scored 80% of their points on full court baseball passes after a rebound.

There is a slight difference.  Nobody from HJ ever projected titles or appearances in Austin.  I think your suggestion is a sound one anyway.  Think of all the costs the schools can save by simply awarding a school the regional title instead of having to travel and play for it.
