1. I would like to wish the West End LL best of luck at the state tournament.  This is a great group of young men, coached by an excellent guy.  Play hard, and bring home the state title. The Beans
2. Congratulations to BCLL!   Way to go Cards!!! Keep it rolling.
3. Coach Trawhon would be an excellent choice.  He is a great man, and a very knowledgeable coach who does nothing but win.
4. It was an amazing weekend, that I was very happy to be a part of.  The boys really worked hard, and just played their hearts out.  It was a great start to what is going to be a tough three week schedule.  We played this weekend, and didn't get through until after 10 p.m., and then we have the Nations state tourney in Beaumont, and then off to Gulf Shores for the USSSA Global world series.  It will be a fun ride, and this was a great way to start it off.
5. Do you have all of your coaching spots filled for Jr. Boys (13 - 15)?
6. They mentioned it on the news this evening.  The report said the player was knocked unconscious, and that he remained like that for quite some time.  He was flown to Galveston, and that early reports were he would be fine.  This is just information gathered from the news.  Prayers to the young man, and his family from the Beans.
7. I heard something at practice this morning that a player was hurt at the Bridge City Senior League park, can anyone confirm this?  I'd like to send prayers out to the player and his family.  We heard that he was life-flighted from the field.  Sports is always a game of chance, and has an element of danger, but you sure hate to hear this.  I would just like to hear if this is true, or simply a rumor.
8.     The Franchise are a top-notch organization, and those kids can flat-out play.  That was a remarkable game, and capped off a great weekend for our boys.
9. Congratulations to a great group of young men, and some outstanding coaches.
10. I really have no problem with it.  I hope the next development allows home-schooled kids the opportunity to play in the public school district they live in.  That is really the only draw back to home-schooling, and many other states currently allow it.
11. Congratulations to all these young men.  I had the privilege of coaching Hunter several years ago, and he has always had a great attitude and a tremendous work ethic.  I am really happy for Hunter and wish him best of luck when he takes his talent to the next level. Tim Bean
12. Dang, still a great season with such a young team.  Way to go Chester!
13. [move]Come on 'Jackets!  It's been a great season, finish strong.[/move]
14.
Imagine this scenario: West Sabine defeats Colmesneil. Chester defeats Broaddus(completely hypothetical here). Brookeland defeats Zavalla. 3 teams at 8-6. What to do, what to do?
I would sure like to see that happen.
15. To the top......to get the topic back on top.
16. Let's go 'Jackets!  We need to finish up strong, and set ourselves up for next year.  Winning the last two, with the last game being against the district leader would be a great building block for next season.
