This is exactly why Ted Cruz is hated in the Senate. The party leaders try to whip him into shape and he tells them to shove it up their... If we had 99 more Senators like him, regardless of party affiliation, we wouldn't need to be talking about term limits.

If you'll notice, the link says, "Shooting was legal".  No, he didn't have a gun in his hand, he had one in his pocket.  He was resisting arrest and his arms where by his side.  You do realize that if he had gotten his hand on that gun, which he may have,  he could shoot through his shorts?   This isn't the movies.  The Police don't have to wait until someone shoots at them first.  Those officers don't want to die.  Alton died because, 1- he was engaged in illegal activity, 2- he was illegally carrying a gun, 3- he was resisting arrest.  Oh, and in case you didn't know, this happened to him once before, but in the initial scuffle, his gun fell out on the ground, so he was arrested.  Think about all those things before you blame the police.

This circus will be much better...way more clowns.

Does it make more sense to ban machetes or Syrian refugees? That's a tough one. Let me think a bit.

Well yeah...the platforms are so far apart, no one that is going to cross that line.
If the Dems ever put out a lower taxes, smaller gov, less regulation, pro 2nd amendment administration, I will vote for them...but we know that will NEVER happen.
I have no problem with folks being loyal to party because the alternative is always worse, according to their ideology.
The folks that I have a problem with are those that don't pay attention enough to realize there is a difference between R & D.

Spent a few days with some economic gurus and here is some info  that I thought was very revealing.
 
If we go back to 1967, here is what has happened to some prices
  1.  Average hourly earnings are up 500%
  2.  The price of a first class postage stamp is up 900%
  3.  The average monthly disability payment is up 1160%
In 1991, the cost of one gigabyte of memory was $40,000.  Today, you can get 64 gigs in a phone for $99 and a phone contract. This was  accomplished totally without government intervention or supervision.  Think about it- $ 2.5 million for 64 gig in 91 vs $99 today.  
All of the above is classic proof that when the government gets involved, quality declines and prices go up.  When the free market is operating as freely as one can reasonably expect, the quality goes up and the price goes down.  Why is it, that so many believe that the government is such a good efficient problem solver?

They've been posted in this forum. They've been shown on every news outlet in America. A Republican super Pac is running a commercial showing them daily. If you haven't seen them, I don't know what to tell you. A simple google search should give you all the info. And yes, Right! It is "straight out." I find it extraordinarily incomprehensible that anyone has not seen Comey's testimony, especially the answers to Trey Gowdy's questions. This is almost akin to me saying 1 + 1 = 2 and you asking me to prove it.

I was actually surprised Cruz even showed...after all the insults, I wouldn't have...but this made him look petty imo.
That being said, by doing what he did, he did nothing but fan the Trump/Cruz base flames and that can only help hillary.
He should have just stayed home, this next election is much more important than someone's hurt feelings.

Trump earned my vote by not being hillary...we can't continue down the path that obama has put us on...and she will.
Am I thrilled about Trump...absolutely not...but I believe he will stay away from policies that are destroying this country, such as open borders and ignoring radical islamic terrorism.
If you are waiting on your perfect (or even close) candidate, you will never vote.
