I thought Kountze made the playoffs with Tracy Franklin both years. Am I wrong? I would consider that success. However, I do think Duane is a great coach. By the way, those are the only playoff appearances since the 70's.

I was trying to find this rule. Can you let me know where it talks about the curfew? I checked UIL and TEA and only found restrictions for post season play.

it is what it is. If it is a foul on the opening tip, it is a foul with .1 second to go. I have had calls go for me and against me in 26 years of coaching. I do agree that it, in my mind, was not a shooting foul. However, by todays standards it was most definitely a shooting foul.

I will try to find the video that shows the angle from behind the in bounder. the way basketball is called today, it was definitely a shooting foul. He pushes the ball up in the direction of the basket.

Asinine! Go back and look. They have not played one team smaller than them in non district since at least 2002. some of the teams that they have played: Tatum, Henderson, WOS, Silsbee, Jasper, Corrigan, CARTHAGE. They usually play on of the toughest schedules around.

Will there be a place on the sight to post them? What are your opinions on the all-district teams? How many should be 1st team?, 2nd? etc.? I know a 6a district with seven teams (ours), where offense has 25 1st teamers and 21 2nd teamers, while defense has 26 1st teamers and 18 2nd teamers! Seems watered down to me.
