I just watched the game. The umpire, back judge and side judge are all black. The coach that went for 4th down twice inside the 35 had more to do with the loss than any ref. Lindale lost a td on inadvertent whistle. 6 illegal procedure penalties is lack of discipline not racism. Late hit out of bounds and targeting were both legit calls. This is just the losing team crying for mistakes they made. 3 fumbled snaps in second half, punt return muffs it in ez and lindale recovers, 3rd down rbs run into each other, etc.

Wait: 8 team district last year; say each team had 22 starters(probably closer to 16 or 17) that is 176 starters - 84 all-district picks! Not even counting honorable mention. It wasn’t like this when I started coaching, but it has been progressing the last 15 years. It is still good for the kids, but being all district used to mean so much more.

Series is tied 6-6. They did not play twice in 1984.

I agree with the two running backs, however there has to be 3 : Eric Dickerson from Sealy. More rushing yards in college than both, more college tds, 13,259 yards in 11 years , AP 14,216 in 13 years, 2105 yards in one season. I would not take Earl or AP off the list, just add ED.

I would say top three in no order: Kevin Smith, Little Joe, and Matt Bryant. My heart still says Eric Alexander! Switches to lb and was second leading tackler on National Championship LSU team and won a super bowl with Patriots. Made a tackle on 2 yard line to preserve the undefeated season.

Practice times dont really even out. You get 15 practices in the spring versus one week if you dont do spring ball.
