The personal attacks of members here needs to stop. You can debate without making it personal.

I’m not talking about today… I’m saying that IF Trump gets elected (which I doubt), the universe basically ensures that he (Trump) will be in even worse shape than Biden by the end of his term, if such a thing as karma actually exists…. That’s just the risk of mocking an old dude, while simultaneously picking an old dude to take his place.

There are so many laws on ballots that it could probably be a degree course. Some say things like, you have to declare your party before January 1 each election year (so in the previous year) and you can’t change. So a potential candidate can’t declare to be a Democrat in December 2023 and then in May 2024 decide to file paperwork to run as a Republican. Each state is different though on dates (including actually different dates on “major” and “minor” parties), appeals, party affiliations, changes to the ballot by any means and so on. The Nevada alone for the 2023-2024 elections season is 9 pages with links to other pages. The states combined might have thousands of pages of election information. The Texas Election Code has about 160…. Chapters. I could understand where a person could read a line or two and say, “Aha! That’s the answer” and ignore 567 pages.

Sorry, I never did like him. MVP and HR hitter years ago. We always seem to get players after they are washed up. I didn’t consider him a clutch bat. I never said, “ Alright, Abreu is coming up to bat.” We have several players who are not clutch batters, but then they will surprise you.

Hear me out… Biden has been greatly diminished over the last four years. That’s painfully obvious. Age is relative. One person at 75 can mirror somebody else at 81… heck, a fifty-six year old with early onset dementia behaves like 81-year old Biden. But if there’s one thing I’m sure of, Karma exists, what comes around goes around, and the people calling names and laughing at Biden while simultaneously nominating an equally geriatric candidate will no doubt get a taste of their own medicine if he gets elected. It’s just the way that the world works.

Did anyone watch the debate between Newsom and DeSantis? Newsom didn’t do so well.

Better late than never. With Biden’s performance during his presidency, I can only wonder why you weren’t convinced before now. It’s good to see that it did snap some heads.
