Lumberton fan this week.. but dont think seeding will change, but if lcm loses does that put them at 3 due to tie breaker with Huffman? i see lcm boat racing lumberton this week, vidor should hang 50+ again unless back ups come in early. livingston has some athletes, but no QB.. think that huffman will have about 400 rushing yards with that stud RB

After giving it some thought and speaking with some other folks in the business (along with some coaches), I have made the decision to do team rankings of our coverage area teams here at SETXsports. I haven't done them in a few years but I think it's time to bring them back. I am not going to pretend to know everything about every team we cover here but I think I can put out a pretty accurate assessment of our teams. I will reach out to others (including some coaches) for input on some teams. These rankings won't be the "end all, be all" and I fully expect negative feedback from week to week. I have tough skin and invite any feedback to help give a more accurate ranking. These will be SETXsports rankings but in the end, it's just my opinion. Whatever that's worth. I will be doing the 3 poll system. Top 10 6A/5A, Top 12 4A/3A (more teams in this group), Top 10 2A/1A/Private. I thought about doing top 12 for all three and bring back the Dirty Dozen Rankings label. But for now, 10,12,10. I will post a Pre Season ranking on Tuesday, November 10. But, I will not follow up the next ranking until after Thanksgiving. Probably first of December. Then it will be a weekly ranking from that point until end of regular season. Most likely will come out on Tuesday mornings each week. It does make for an exciting final week. Plus, it keeps almost every team still having to play their best right to the end. Of course, the majority of this district has been nothing if not inconsistent. A lot of talent. A lot of youth.

41-20 Silsbee

Don't know about other teams/players and their stats. All I know is that against Vidor, he had 53 yards.

Depends on how Silsbee D handles the run, and how well they can pass the ball on offense. Shepherd D is solid against the run, but we burned them all night through the air, conditions just slowed us down a lot. Silsbee struggled against Vidor earlier in the year, and this matchup should be similar, but the Tigers have improved tremendously throughout the season. I don't know that it'll be 45-16, but I expect a comfortable Tiger win.

If that is true, WOS has problems with this team. No accountability in the penalties is going to kill us.

I think it’s when you vote asap where you stop getting annoying text messages. Personally, I think people should sue the campaigns for data & text usage. Not everyone has an unlimited plan.

That’s what @Matthew328 & I had using points. I didn’t see any differences in using points or H2H. Maybe just a coincidence. Or, maybe I missed something.

Lufkin and Sterling win puts West brook in. Sterling beat GCM earlier in the year by 7 Lufkin would be 5-3. Three way tie Sterling GCM West Brook.. West Brook goes in on points.

The problem is Jerry Jones. He is the one in control He hired coaches that can’t coach and they have players that don’t care whether they win They have had the worst secondary in the NFL the last several years. The defense is 32nd out of 32 teams. Offensively, they can’t run the football because of a weak OL and it doesn’t bother Prescott , Pickens, or Lamb if they get beat. I will be surprised if they win more than 6 games this year

I would expect nothing less. I’ve seen a couple Lufkin games this year. Before the season began, I had 9-5A as LP, PAM, GCM/Lufkin interchangeable. I still haven’t given up on that prediction. But, I’d obviously prefer it to happen with a loss by y’all and BU. Sorry. I actually think both are likely. As far as rest, LP is a lot more than just Simon. He only has 3 games all year with over 20 carries. He still has almost 1600 yards rushing and 21 TD’s. Our Sophomore RB Dieudonne has right at 700 yards and 11 TD’s. So, teams can’t just focus on Simon in the run game. LP is also a lot more balanced this year. About 65/35 mix. (Over 1500 yards passing, 19 TD’s, 1 INT & over 2700 yards rushing with 39 TD’s.) In district play, LP is averaging 53 ppg, and giving up 24 ppg. LP’s D isn’t near what some may believe. Many of those points given up were after the games were already decided. It’s good to have some Lufkin posters here posting finally. I’m kind of outside the SETX core area also. It’s kinda lonely. 😎
