  1. Past hour
  2. Okay… you apparently don’t understand the most basic premise of law. A woman walks into the police station and says “TheMissingBand raped me.” Do the police arrest me and say “ok, Mr Band… prove that you didn’t rape this woman.” The person making the allegation has ALL OF THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PROVING THEIR ALLEGATION. And that’s the problem… Trump made his accusations about fraud, and never proved a single thing. Never provided the first shred of evidence. But the most gullible among us think that it’s up to democrats to “prove that voter fraud didn’t happen.” That’s not how it works. My contention isn’t that fraud occurred, and in 5.5 years Trump just hasn’t finished proving his case. My contention is that fraud didn’t occur, and Trump and his acolytes can’t even come up with the first shred of evidence that widespread fraud occurred. Trump and Gabbard seized the ballots in Georgie and Arizona since he took office. Don’t you think he’d be in front of a camera talking about all of the fraud they found as a reason to pass the SAVE Act? Of course he would … but there’s no fraud to be found, because it was all a lie, which easily fooled the most unsophisticated of my brethren on the right. 11.3 million Texans voted in 2024 The Republican Secretary of State was able to identify 33 people who voted illegally. “Texas officials have been actively looking for any possible noncitizens on the rolls, spurred by political pressure to “secure” elections. In June, Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson (R) announced that her office identified 33 “potential noncitizens” who voted in the 2024 election and referred their names to Attorney General Ken Paxton (R). Roughly 11.3 million Texans voted in 2024. “Noncitizens must not be allowed to influence American elections,” Paxton said in June. Paxton has a history of aggressively pursuing nonvoting allegations, often with little evidence. In 2019, his office backed a purge attempt that falsely flagged nearly 95,000 registered voters — most of them naturalized U.S. citizens. Despite the effort, Paxton’s decades-long campaign to expose voter fraud has produced few convictions, especially in cases involving noncitizens. While the investigation continues, as of late July, no charges have been filed, and officials have offered no public evidence that any of the 33 voters knowingly violated the law.” [Hidden Content] I just proved once and for all to anyone with an IQ above room temperature that illegals voting in our elections is a statistical non issue. 33 out of 11.3 million voters were listed as potentially breaking election laws.
  3. Sorry for your loss. It makes most of the 1000s of squabbling posts meaningless compared to what really matters. Good to know those/us that disagree can lift each other up in prayer when needed.
  4. Today
  5. Did Trump lie about negotiations with Iran?
  6. No ICE officers have been formally charged with murder in recent deployments. My understanding is there are investigations ongoing in some instances. Namely the 2 agents that lied. But, even they haven’t been formally charged yet. This is where you get yourself into a bind. You use very inflammatory language to embellish events, or flat out make up your own events, to get some type of satisfaction to justify your beliefs. Just state what you have info to back up without the inflammatory language. If it’s bad enough, it will be obvious.
  7. Aside from your weak attempt to conceal calling me an idiot, you stipulated—in unequivocal terms—that no non-citizen voted. Prove it, or shut it. I made no claim one way or the other.
  8. Yesterday
  9. Man, give up while you’re behind.
  10. So ICE is changing up their policies and procedures for this deployment? That’s good news, because three Americans were murdered by ICE on their last one. Honestly, though… I did see where Trump asked the MAGA agents to NOT wear their masks at the airport, so that’s a step back towards where they should be.
  11. That’s the difference between a smart person and someone who isn’t very bright. Someone can say “there’s all kinds of voter fraud going on” and the sheep will say “of course there is… there’s no way Joe Biden got more votes than Donald Trump! I have never even seen a Biden hat!” They believe that unsubstantiated claim without hesitation. But when somebody says “there was no fraud,” the response is “proof please.” And that’s the beautiful part of an accusation of wrongdoing. One should be able to prove their accusation of wrongdoing… that’s why the burden of proof exists solely on the prosecutor (the person making the charge of wrongdoing), not the accused. Quite simply put sir, one can’t ever prove that something didn’t happen, but if it did actually occur, it must be proven. Trump should be able to prove his accusations of voter fraud, but he hasn’t, because he can’t… and reasonable people recognize that it’s because the fraud never occurred. That’s the problem with anybody who believes that election fraud exists… they’re always believing in things unseen and unproven, while simultaneously ignoring facts. Like an idiot would do.
  12. Right. But so many already knew that I am not surprised it was announced before the school board meeting tomorrow night. I do agree. Toby has his work cut out for him but I think he's up for the task. I was told he will take a pay cut but will be allowed to bring in some coaches of his choice. It's my understanding this is the 3rd time he has applied for the Jasper job. Third times the charm.
  13. They're not the greatest news outfit in the world, so I'm not surprised that they leaked it.
  14. Proof please.
  15. I had a feeling that we'd hire him at some point. It seemed like he applied the last couple times that job was open. Congrats to him. He's got a hill to climb...
  16. So, Hakeem Jeffries has stated that ICE will brutalize and/or kill people in airports. When do we expect this to happen? Apparently, it’s reality as well.
  17. Has Toby applied at every School in the area.....
  18. You might want to read more than the headline. There was a discrepancy in the vote count. A judge issued 2 warrants and the Sherriff agreed to yield the recount to a special master appointed by a Judge. This month Shakir Khan, a city council member in California was convicted of a fraud scheme including ballots..... Unfortunately it happens.....we can choose to ignore it or face it......
  19. And exactly none of them voted.
  20. I guess Trump’s declaration of Democrats as cheaters was his probable cause. You know, now that Iran’s nuclear capabilities have been knocked out twice Trump has declared Democrats
  21. Thanks, Mr. Aggie.
  22. Prayers to you and your family.
  23. Thank you, ‘Dawg
