I’m curious if Trump’s apparent defiance of the Supreme Court will lead us into a constitutional crisis? Congress COULD convene and cede all power to levy tariffs to the President, but I doubt they’d do that because the next Dem president will do the same thing to other people. I expect calls from the right to pack the Supreme Court any minute now. The Trump admin is a failure by any reasonable standard.

What are you asking me for? The Supreme Court said that the President can’t override the Constitution at his whim. Whether or not a tariff based Federal economic system is wise will be proved out by time, not courts.

You can't continue to have a global trade policy change at the whims of a single person. That would mean trade policy could change every 2-3 years at election time.
