Ok I wasn't looking at that, but at the rankings that they post on this site. Also Ive just noticed that they were 4a last season and 5a this season. They beat WOS in a close game last season. Regardless, I watched some of the Freeman game on TL, and they are good indeed. We'll see how it goes this Friday.

Last I checked the DCTF computer rankings, they were #2. Are you looking at the computer rankings, or the poll rankings? Still #2 in the computer rankings at last update before their win against Katy Freeman. I doubt they’ll drop after that win. PNG is #5. [Hidden Content]

Yes. But their program looks to be D1 size. I imagine they’re getting the cream of the crop from FBISD. If y’all have some players playing both ways, they’re gonna be some tired young men.

You think too highly of 9-5A. La Porte won 9-5A the last time they were in it in 2023 as well with PAM's come from behind win at home the only blemish. In 2024, LP and Angleton took out every 9-5A team they played. That being said, this year's version of LP is a lot younger on the OL & the D. There are very few senior starters, and all the skill players are underclassmen.

4 starters out. 3 of them are two-way starters and 3 of the "big 5" players on the team. Brookhill suited up 46 players for the game to 26 for SA. Schedule loosens up between now and district.

North Shore Fall League

Everyone thinks about Crawford's offense for good reason. Their QB's ability to make plays when things break down is demoralizing. Don't forget, they also have a 5 star Edge/LB who creates havoc wherever he lines up. Their D is sneaky good, and overlooked IMHO. It was a 3 point game with LP in the 4th quarter. Then, Mosely took over with punt return & I forget the other score. But, they'd worn the young LP D out with up tempo play all game & chasing them all over the field. You could tell they'd all played together since Crawford was opened. They can score quick from anywhere on the field in multiple ways. There's a reason they're ranked #2 by DCTF computers. Should be a good game.

What are the rules if players want to stay after and work on stuff?? As long as no coaches around, I don’t see a problem. I ask cause I would like to see our qb and wr’s have a little bit more cohesiveness and knowing each other. The passing game just don’t sit good with me right now. I mean throwing to the side only going to work for so long before stuff start getting picked off or tackles for loss.

Not being funny, but who was in LaPorte district last year? Maybe that’s why they caught fire?? I still believe the will end up #2 in district, but I don’t see many blowouts from them

He played but not 100%. The Yoakum kid is fitting in nicely at Mally.

I got us 28-14…. However, i can’t discount Lufkin history and pedigree. Let’s look at some non football stuff going into this game. First thing is, I feel like this game was circled on their schedule. PAM embarrassed them last year making history. They had not been goose egged at home since 88 or 89, so revenge is on their mind. Next thing is , this is a farewell tour for their stadium. They want this game. From what I saw on TV the first game, they are not fast side line to side line on defense, which helps us. Next year they will be a force to deal with.
