According to the attached fact check, you’re only required to re-register if you’ve had a ‘qualifying event.’ That would be something like a name change, change of address, or something like that. That would seem reasonable to keep voter rolls up-to-date. Some other good questions/answers as well. [Hidden Content]

You are not your political beliefs. You are a child of God and the world would be diminished at your passing. I’d place a flower at your grave.
-
I'm really rooting for a Nebraska vs Arkansas national championship matchup.
-
Already posted that I “re-registered” about 10 years ago and obtained my “real” license. It’s difficult at my age sometimes, but some of us do try to keep up.

I don’t know of a fairer, kinder man. Always handled those crazy little league parents with grace.

I believe there are people on this board who would piss on my grave just because of my political beliefs. I have done nothing to them or their family, but they would say it anyway. Of course they’re not POTUS and I do believe in decorum in the halls of congress, (look at the crude antics during hearings and SOTU), but somehow, that’s acceptable. If Trump had rephrased his sentiments, the actions of the left would be the same. When informed of Mueller’s passing on camera, Trump could have said “next”, and his bones would have been jumped anyway. Aggie, I think we should all brush up on what your Dad taught. The world would be a better place.

My father taught me that kindness and graciousness won over anger and bitterness. My father was a pillar of our community. UT alum can attest to that. He was no push over either. Was Chief Umpire at Silsbee Little League for many many years. So he dealt with many a sour folk from time to time. I am certainly not trying to compare the two positions but just my way of saying we have a choice in our behaviors.

I don’t believe you’d be all nice and sweet if you or your family was trying to be destroyed by someone!

I am 36-4 ($100) and 35-5 ($250). Lost Vandy game. Still lead 100 pool. Tied for 1st in 250. Need an 8-0 day today. Got Zona, Kansas, UConn, Purdue, Florida, Bama, Virginia and Iowa St in $250. Same for $100 except for Kansas. I have St. John's in that game.

Nate Silver also predicted Kamala would win…. So, take that poll for what it’s worth

Shouldn’t have said it PERIOD I find it odd that some people take issue with a comment but yet accept/want laws for legal murder of the innocent.

The Save Act
-
Under the SAVE Act, you will not be allowed to vote. If you’re required to re-register, you’ll also need to also present a birth certificate or valid passport because the Texas DL doesn’t proven citizens, just residency. As the Act is written, only five states currently have DLs that prove citizenship. [Hidden Content] The good news is that the act doesn’t trigger an automatic need to re-register… so if you were already registered illegally, you won’t be affected by the Save Act. Genius in its own way, I suppose. The next time you have to re-register, you’ll need to provide the extra docs. But you’d best hope that your registration wasn’t one of the ones rejected by the state last fall. [Hidden Content] The scary part is this… Trump said that the democrats can’t win a single race without cheating. I have to assume that he believes that. If he has the federal government seize control of elections like he also stated, I believe that he would immediately order all people who have ever voted in a Democratic primary to re-register, forcing them alone to bear the expense and headache of re-registering in hopes that they won’t be able to vote. The first part is fact, the second is my opinion. If our last election was free and fair, then why is this new legislation so imperative? He intends to weaponize it, just like he’s done with the DHS, FCC, DOJ, SEC, etc…

Love watching him play.

That was a yes or no question, man… did those FBI agents who were ordered to investigate reports that Trump was holding top secret classified documents deserve to be fired? And if your answer is yes, should their eventual deaths therefore be celebrated? All you have to do is let your conscience take over, then touch your tongue to the roof of your mouth and softly whisper the word “no.” You can do it. You just did… now a little louder.

No. Just have to have a better bracket than the others that are playing in your pool. My $100 bracket pool has 14 of us playing. $250 bracket pool there is 8 of us. I am in two other pools. One is $25 and the other is $20. It's all point based. So many points for correct picks in 1st round, then 2nd round, then 3rd, etc. Point's per win get greater each round. I am leading in both my $100 and $250 pools. $250 pool is winner take all. $100 is 1st and 2nd.
